kimcheeboy Posted October 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2019 (edited) Hi Oceania cruisers, DW and I just got off the Oceania Insignia, our first Oceania cruise so far and 18th cruise overall. I must say Oceania's marketing about being the "foodie cruiser's line of choice" is well deserved. Thought I'd share our food tour video here for all those interested. Enjoy! We are budding Youtubers (mostly about our 2 fur babies) but we have a whole series of videos from this Oceania cruise lined up. Subscribe to our channel to not miss out on them. Jay23 Posted October 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2019 I hope your excellent video will dispel the rumours that food on board Oceania is not the best. J

Hello Kimcheeboy, thank you for your excellent video tour. Can you tell me who the Cruise director is, and also, is Georgios (Greek) onboard in any restaurant ? We met him in 2016 on Regatta, and he really took good care of us. Thanks.
bbwex Posted October 14, 2019 #9 Share Posted October 14, 2019 (edited) I am a bit confused. The new refurb seems to have combined Toscana and Polo into Tuscan Steak, but the video show separate menus for each of those. Have they been combined and Red Ginger now has the other half of the space, or are there still separate Polo and Toscana, and Red Ginger is somewhere else?? Or is it that rest of the R ships have not yet had the refurb that Sirena has had? The deck plan for Sirena still shows Polo and Toscana as separate, but the restaurant list shows the combined Toscan Steak and Red Ginger. clo Posted October 14, 2019 #10 Share Posted October 14, 2019 Maybe it's just me but this was awfully long. I just tried a second time to pick up here I had left off and could only do maybe another minute or so. The rotation of every plate was probably not necessary. And for me anyway spending so much time on each menu was not necessary as I really couldn't read it. Sorry to be negative but if you want to make a business off of this then I thought that perhaps something more than "atta boy" might be helpful. Best of luck. kimcheeboy Posted October 14, 2019 Author #16 Share Posted October 14, 2019 Hi folks, Thanks for the constructive feedback. Youtube is purely a hobby for us and not a business, nor do we ever expect it to be. Just a way to share to the world our 2 little fur babies with a dash of our travels thrown in.
wally_bushy Posted October 14, 2019 #17 Share Posted October 14, 2019 Good video for potential Oceania cruisers Good memories for existing Oceania cruisers Our next cruise is a year away but that made me want to book a "squeeze in " cruise 😊
