zitsky Posted October 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2019 On other cruise lines I get to the meeting point 15-30 minutes before the posted excursion time. Is this pretty much the same on Celebrity?
jelayne Posted October 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2019 Personally we show up about 5 mins before the time indicated on our tickets. Can see any reasons to go sit in the Theater for 20-30 waiting for excursion to be called.

Is this pretty much the same on Celebrity? If you are meeting in the theatre you usually pick up a sticker then wait for your sticker number to be announced, if shoreside you will be directed towards a bus...10 mins before time is usually fine. If you are late tours will go without you. If you have mobility issues change your timings accordingly. Also if you have mobility issues and are scheduled to meet in the theatre then only one in your party needs to go to the theatre, others can head down the gangway and then join the ‘paddle trail’ to the appropriate transport. Rare hcat Posted October 15, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2019 We go a bit early. If an excursion is very popular and has several busses going to the same place, the early birds get the first bus and often beat some of the crowds.
HeddaGarbled Posted October 15, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2019 30 minutes might be a bit early but 15-20 is good. Once there is a bus full of people for each excursion, your number will be called and you’ll be on your way, so you can get away early by arriving early. Similarly, if your group does go to the theater, only one person should go up on the stage - just need to take all of the group's tickets with you to get everyone stickers for the same bus.
