Port Everglades Terminals

Can anyone tell me if they assign the ships a terminal the day they arrive or how does that work?

I wanted to book transportation from the cruise port to Ft. Lauderdale airport but they need to know which cruise terminal I will be at, and there seems to be quite a few.

Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

It’s not necessary to know the exact terminal your ship will be docked at. When your driver arrives at Port Everglades there is a large electronic message board near the terminal entrance which will tell them where your ship is docked. If your cruising on Princess they usually dock at  Terminal 1 or 2. If your cruising on Royal Caribbean, especially on an Oasis class ship they normally dock at Terminal 18. During the busy winter season Port Everglades can handle up to eight ships on a busy weekend.

A slight correction...there are signs at each gate into the port area indicating which ship is at which Terminal. There is also signage at the major intersections within the port as to which ship is at which Terminal.

The transport people are very familiar with this system. They know how the port works.

Thanks all!!  Now I have another question, and it might sound silly, but I've never been to these ports before.

Do I use American money in Costa Maya and Cozumel or do I need to buy Pesos?

They will take USD
