Rare Germancruiser Posted November 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2019 Since I am coming back to RCI next year- on board the Symphonie, does anyone know which of Symphonie´s Bar´s, Lounges, Restaurants have an actual view out to the sea? I take it most of the bars and restaurants are indoors- without a view at all! Thank you in advance!

ryguy2008 Posted November 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2019 Technically the main dining room on deck 4 has tables with porthole views... But I'd hardly call that anything exciting.

Rare Germancruiser Posted November 26, 2019 Author #12 Share Posted November 26, 2019 (edited) Thank you all so much for your help. I am quite surprised- so I should be happy on board. I would not have booked an Oasis Class ship for the reason that so many is " indoors" and I love a little connection to the sea- so to speak! Partner wants the " Oasis experience- sailing on the biggest ship in the word for once. So I gave in- I love how they built their older ships- like Vision Class, Raddiance Class up to the Voyager Class- which all have - also a point in their favour- a propper prommenade deck! I sailed on all afore mentioned ships- then switched to Celebrity and ended up with Cunard for the last 5 or so years! So for me it is a return to RCCI after 10 years absence. I suppose i lost all my benefits I was Diamond on my last voyage- but after so many years I quess I have to start back at point zero. LOL! Thanks again! Rare John&LaLa Posted November 26, 2019 #13 Share Posted November 26, 2019 (edited) You should still be Diamond, its a lifetime benefit. Go to deck 7 aft to enjoy a nice lounger with ocean view. Easily as good as a 'proper' promenade lounger Plenty of room to move the chairs around Its up by the rock walls Or deck 5 aft Edited November 26, 2019 by John&LaLa

Rare brillohead Posted November 26, 2019 #15 Share Posted November 26, 2019 Definitely check and make sure that they have your Diamond level connected with your booking now, so it's in effect when you board (and your spouse should be Diamond as well).
