podsnel Posted December 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2019 Hi! Has anyone stayed in the verandah cabins behind Johnny Rockets on Symphony of the Seas? Were they noisy, or could you smell burgers and fries day and night? Thank you so much! I am thinking it will be fine, but thought I would throw it out to all of you, just in case. Thank you for your input!
cb at sea Posted December 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2019 You are in a hallway that does NOT open to the restaurant area at all...no worries! The entrance to the center area of the ship is from the center...you will have to walk to either end of that hallway to get to the Boardwalk area. mjldvlks Posted December 11, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 11, 2019 Weverything were not behind JRs, but on the opposite side behind Playmakers and the arcade which has longer hours and more noise - no problem with noise but could smell cooking in hallway. Not a bad thing to me.
Rare brillohead Posted December 12, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 12, 2019 You do realize that the restaurant faces the Boardwalk, right? All you'll have is a blank wall across from your door.
mjldvlks Posted December 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2019 Uh, yeah. Spent almost 2 weeks in that cabin. Fairly familiar with the layout of that area of the ship. Hence the word "behind."

And just my two cents... if you're answering anyone specifically, it's helpful to quote so everyone knows who you're addressing, especially when it comes across as abrupt as your first comment did. molly361 Posted December 12, 2019 #13 Share Posted December 12, 2019 You won't have any noise issues. And I guess I'm not most people as I don't have ANYONE on my ignore list

podsnel Posted December 13, 2019 Author #16 Share Posted December 13, 2019 Well thank you- I was asking for a friend (REALLY!!!! NOT JUST SAYING THIS!!! lol) who was worried about these things- I really thought she would be fine, but just wanted to ease her mind (she isn't on Cruise Critic). It is more helpful, and makes the thread a lot easier to read, if you edit the quote to only a particularly relevant sentence that is the subject of a reply. And better yet, just use the user name of the person if it is a general reply.
