Gift cards for BSE

Can I use Princess gift cards to pay for BSE? I would be adding to my reservation under 3 for free.

You should be able to use gift cards to pay for any Princess cruise. Pretty sure you can't add BSE benefits to an already booked cruise under the 3 for free promo. You probably will have to give up the 3 for free and change to the BSE promo.

To clarify I would be adding the drinks and WiFi for $25/person/day to my cruise that I purchased under 3 for free.

Interested in knowing how you accomplish the add on without losing the 3 for free benefits. The BSE offer fine print mentions " and may not be combined with other offers or other onboard credits."

When I switched from an old promo to the BSE I lost the old promo benefits but kept the casino discounts.  Still a great deal

You can.

 

You can add options to certain past promos. This is unlike any other promo previously.

Canadian, I believe … and we added BEST2DG to our Getaway promotion, and it wasn't listed above, with no problem … on a courtesy hold on a Saturday morning … thru a random Princess rep who answered the call..🤑

I added BEST2DW  to our 3-for-Free booking.  $25 per person per day for the drinks and WiFi.  Had previously added air discount to the booking.

Yes you can. You can apply them to any Princess booking.

For example........

Kroger/brand stores across the country sell the Princess gift cards.

Just received a few for Xmas!  😎

We used the BEST3 code to add drink package, gratuities and Wifi to an existing booking without losing the OBC and complimentary specialty dining that we got from some other promo. 

Looking forward to our first real Princess cruise (we did a one day a couple years ago but that doesn't really count 😁)

We called and tried to add the BEST2DW to our booking and were told no because there was not another cabin in our category open so being "sold out" the promo could not be added. Unless we pay for a cabin in a higher category.

 

Dose that sound right or do we need to try again with a different rep?

I don't know the answer but I would call back. Also, a lot of people were told no in the first few days and are now able to add the package. Might as well call back. You can't lose anything.

That is true. You can't take advantage of a new promotion if your current category is sold out...

I emailed my PVP and the BSE was added to my anniversary rate.  Just added a $500 gift card payment online- got it from Allstate for $450.57.

I know that is true if you are re-faring but adding a package, didn't know if this was still true.
