Shuttle from Port Everglades to MIA

Due to flight selection/times, we may have to fly out of Miami instead of Fort Lauderdale on the return.

 

Could you recommend a shuttle service for five people plus luggage?  I know we could take Uber, etc but we won't have data (Canadians). Taxis are showing around $75 US and we'd need two for all of our bags.

 

Any suggestions are welcomed.

You can check with QLS and Go Airport - many of the popular shuttles (SAS, etc.) do not service the MIA airport and surrounding hotels.

 

A mini-van taxi is the same fare as a standard cab and should fit 5 plus bags - unless some in your group pack like my wife! 🙄 - and at $75+ is not a bad price.  If you are not in a rush you could taxi to the Tri-Rail, then ride the train to MIA for under $5 each - check the Tri-Rail site for train schedules as they don't run very often on the weekends.

Are there mini van taxis readily available at the port?

Yes, there will be van taxis...however, its always little tough when you add in the luggage for 5. Possible, tho. Taxi is about the most expensive option (except limos), although with 5 people, the cost becomes more realistic.

Try Jiffy Jeff's Transportation. I have used them several times with great results. Cheaper than a taxi by far!
