Where to post question to take.a group on a cruise?

Recommended Posts

I suggest you talk to your cruise line or a TA that handles group cruises.

Just please remember there can be no solicitation for members to join in your group on the Cruise Critic boards per the Guidelines.

Hi. I already know the people.  I will just invite them.  Here are my questions:I would lime to pay for everything in the price of a cruise.

1.  Is there a way not to be held legally responsible or fined in case they say or do something wrong, which I believe to be highly unlikely?
2. Is there a way to choose a group of cabins in a spot they will be all happy with and sleep well without noise disturbing their sleep?
3. How easy is it to make group reservations for shore excursions, entertainment and dining?
4. Are cruise lines open to group discounts?
5. Is there any group cruise planning resources online?
6.  I am looking for the best cruise line to southern carribean for people who love learning, shore excursions and need a break from work?

1. Ask a cruise line or a TA. Better yet, a lawyer.

2. Ask a cruise line and study the deck plans for their ships.

3. If you are talking about ship-sponsored shore excursions, entertainment & dining on a ship, ask a cruise line. If private tour & excursion companies, you will have to ask them.

4. Yes they are. Each usually has a Group Sales Department where you could discuss your wants & needs to see if they can satisfy them.

5. Yes there are many companies specializing in group cruises. Try Google. However per the Cruise Critic Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free memberships, they cannot be discussed on the boards since they are a source of purchase for cruises.

6. What you consider as "best" is up to you. We all have our favorite cruise lines for one reason or another. Mine is Celebrity, but I have cruised Carnival the most.

Perhaps the Cruise Critic article Finding a Cruise Travel Agent will be helpful. Be sure to find one that is a cruise specialist.

I sincerely hope this information will be helpful and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic! emo35.gif

Happy sails,
