It always raised my BP which is why I test at home. Avril When I had my ganglion cyst removed (under local anaesthetic) I had high BP for the first time (even 8 months pregnant my BP was fine) This must have been 9 years ago. I didn’t feel anxious but it was on the high side, I had to get three separate readings at my GPs before they would do it! They said then ‘white coat syndrome’. On the day of the procedure of course it was high again. The nurse just said ‘is it us?!’ Then of course I had my stent fitted and then put on BP medication, although it’s a lowish dose.

Be very careful if he offers to take you to Oscars in Newcastle-under-Lyme. They used to have a Dalek in there. I haven't been there for several years so I'm not sure if the Dalek is still in residence.
