P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

Hello everyone, hope all is well as I do not currently have time to read back through a month's posts. We are currently on Sky Princess and having a great time ( as we always do) now on our way back to Brest before arriving home on Wed 16th. The weather has been really good to us, we are on the sunny side now so enjoying long sunny days on the balcony. I will try and catch up next week.

Yes we’ve been blessed with good weather, dry at Ports of call and smooth Atlantic crossings.

 

Flat calm this morning, 5 days into the 6 day crossing.

We have had strange weather today, pouring with rain one minute and bright sunlight the next.  DH has been hoovering up the leaves in the garden but as quick as he gets them up more fall.  I have stayed inside where it is warm and dry.

I just heard on the news that a woman has died after falling from MSC Virtuosa in the Channel off France as the ship was heading back to Southampton.  What an awful end to the cruise, my thoughts are with her family and friends.

A grey day again here. It must have been windy during the night, DH spent most of yesterday afternoon clearing leaves off the garden and this is what it looks like this morning.

Good morning everyone, hope you are all ok.

 

A strange day here too yesterday weather wise. Sunny-raining- sunny-raining. Except for walking the dogs at lunchtime I stayed in all day doing the usual house hold things. Hubby spent all day insulting the loft.

 

Weather looks better here this morning, hubby just taken dogs for a walk on the beach.

 

Not sure what we are doing today, my mum is coming for tea.

Good morning all a bright day here , well the 5 k run went really well for all the family last night all setting fantastic times , other members of the family watching now want to do next years run 😁 . Not much doing today except so more packing and cleaning my wooden floors today, the window blinds got cleaned yesterday doing my winter cleaning 😂

Morning 😃 I see the curse of the mobile phones have stuck again .

I wanted Southampton and ended up with Southport .Now Michelle's hubby 

now finds himself insulting the loft when he should be insulating 😒

Not to worry ,we aren't the first, nor will be the last to fall into this trap.

It does remind me of a tale about a man sends a text to his next-door neighbour .

"Bob, I'm sorry.mate  I've been riddled with guilt and I have to confess: I have been

helping myself to your wife when you're not around, probably more than you.

I know it's no excuse but I don't get it at home. I can't live with the guilt any longer.

 I hope you'll accept my sincerest apology. It won't happen again."

Feeling outrage and betrayed, Bob grabs his gun, goes into the bedroom, and

without a word, shoots his wife dead .

Moments later the guy gets a second text:....... "Sorry  ,that should have read  ..

Wi Fi not Wife "😲

Morning all.  A cooler one but 100% dry and quite peasant. Out for a walk soon, and a roast with pork chops later

Talking of leaves - my dog loves to use them for toilet purposes - I think she regards them like ultra quilted Andrex 🙂

A few times on the 08:30 bus to Rotherham ,you could never get a seat 😉

I find a lot of it comes from being brought up in a mining village.

Those guys had a brilliant sense of humour and having a misspent youth

around the WMC helped I suppose and a lot of Comedy acts that went onto

better things in the TV world . Everyone has a funny tale to tell within them .

 

It it is great to know my posts, as do other folks, "lifts the spirits" .

Good Afternoon,

A dull and dreary day, but dry here and currently 13c.

I didn't have anything planned for today except a roast for dinner, but my son sent me a text at just after 8am this morning saying his train hadn't turned up and could I give him a lift into Truro for work. Before he had returned to the house the train went past🙄 obviously by then he had left the station. So a trip to Truro and back this morning and stopped at Tesco on my way home to get the shopping tha I didn't go and do yesterday.

This reminds me of a text I sent my daughter when I was baby sitting my poorly granddaughter.

 

The text she received was "I've just given her a some scalpel"

I always read your posts very carefully.  Tesco or Tresco.😁
