We have just been to the surgery to get our flu jabs.  It was much easier than in previous years, everyone has to make an appointment so no long queue out onto the car park. We were only out of the house for one and half hours even though it is 2 miles walk each way.

Albatross on a stick!

It is at this point that I must point out that there is a very funny sketch by Monty Python

at the Super Bowl but due to a certain few words could not be posted on here .

Sharon would send us to jail if we did .:classic_unsure:

Nice post by the way Wowzz :classic_biggrin:

Is it sore this year? Last year was fine, the year before my arm was red raw and painful for days.

We only just got back so no reaction yet.  Every other year I have woken up the next day with a raging cold so I will let you know tomorrow.

If I have sore throat, temperature, coughing and sneezing I will be trying to work out whether I have Covid symptoms and need to self isolate or whether it is the reaction 😂😂

We have a resident hedgehog and squirrel too.

We have numerous Hedgehogs, have seen at least 4 at one time, could be more.

I recently fitted new security lighting and they keep setting them off, that's how we know we have so many, it never happened with the old lights.

We often see a fox late at night and little rabbits.

I thought only those of a certain age and certain sense of humour would get the reference!

I'd like to quote some " Derek and Clive Live", but I can't find anything that I can quote with no swearing.

Cult following once, Derek and Clive. I remember banning my son from accessing my cassettes. He’s got the entire collection now, but 12 was too young!

Thanks, Grapau, lovely photos.

Where are you off to next?

Lake District, Blackpool illuminations,Gretna Green.

Sometimes for a day trip we decide the night before.

For years I drove 200 miles a day as a rep so I'm used to traveling a long distance daily.

Graham.

Well another holiday hits the dust, Jet2holidays just cancelled a break we had booked for October. Oh well, just have to look back at the superb sights of Northumberland from the other week and perhaps we will end up stalking celebs in Abergele 😀
