we eat the coral, too, which is the eggs.
Maine caviar!

I have never heard of the coral.  That sounds real good.  I want to try Maine caviar sometime. I remember when cleaning fish with my dad he would keep the fish eggs and batter them up and fry them.  I liked them but now I believe I would be eating them alone. Others around the house think it’s gross.

That was good.  I love Maine lobster.  Traveling the NE coast is on our bucket list.  I was surprised to see them eating it with what some call tomolley on it.  When we lived in Massachusetts, and I was very young, I thought I remember that the green stuff was to be avoided.  I also would now like to try clams off the grill.  Never would of even thought of grilling clams.

This guy has weird videos.  He's eaten roaches (that's what they looked like) in Thailand and no they weren't crawfish which to me look like large roaches. I don't know much about lobsters but I wouldn't eat anything green that came out of it.

Guest bag treats for 30 hotel rooms complete. Two trays of snacks to go with catered luncheon. One for grooms room and one for brides.
Day is young so I will start washing all the cookie trays for the cookie traying party this Thursday morning starting at 7:30am. Estimated 375-400 dozen cookies need trayed. Anyone interested in helping?  Delivering them to venue hopefully by 1:00 pm.   So if bored and have free time help appreciated.

Better yet bring a friend or for that matter any enemies . No help refused.  Well except my husband. Gotta send him away to do busy work. He can um you know get in the way. But gotta love him. He has put up with me for 29 years and 326 days. But he says he’s not counting.

If I lived near you I would be knocking on your door to help.  You are an amazing organizer/planner.  I know the wedding will be super spectacular.

That's a sausage?!!

Mortadella is a large Italian   sausage   or    luncheon     meat made of finely hashed or ground heat-cured pork, which incorporates at least 15% small cubes of pork fat

My kind of [far from healthy] lunch...😉

I can get mortadella here. But it's pre-sliced and in a cute little package in the deli area. And very expensive. I've never had it.

Such a huge difference in "food appraisal" between our countries (??) .... Here, as well as in Italy, it is quite low-priced (since it is deemed as "processed meat"), whereas the Hungarian salami is very expensive. Go figure. I like them both 😉

Winter salami is a type of Hungarian salami produced according to a centuries-old tradition. Made from Mangalitsa pork and spices (white pepper, allspice, and others), winter salami is cured in cold air and smoked slowly.

Dani I think you will love this. I watched it several times!

Same here.... This was like a "pact"' - you and me together. Very moving, very gentle.

I was thinking to myself "this cat doesn't behave like a 'regular' cat, may be because she is 'mixed' she is more intelligent, more 'agreeable' to human beings"?

I'm following her daily for a good laugh.

A few years ago a friend and I visited Cambodia for a few weeks.  Just about any where we went vendors were selling roasted crickets. We were with a local group that had a big tray of them.  I was talked into trying one.  I was surprised that they tasted ok.

The final countdown is on till the wedding this weekend.
Today got up at 4:30 am so the cleaning lady can get started. Oh. Wait. I’m the cleaning lady. Then at 8:00 am off to take his shirts in to dry cleaners. Shortly there  after had to do a double order of cheese cake cups. Only got 12 dozen out of batch.  Time for coffee.
Now organizing and putting together 30 gift bags for out of town guest staying at hotel after reception.
When  that is done then organize all the storage crates to go to venue on Wednesday.
Then plan and cook supper.
Just in time to clean up so no new messes.

Wow!    That's really nice that you will give gift /snack bags to the family / friends that will stay at the hotel 😍

You will definitely need a cruise in the very near future for some R & R.

Any idea who cares for the cat while she is cruising?    She should be able to sneak onboard...hehe

Debbie,

The cat (her name is Bug) is "cruising" with the Captain.... She even has a sea pass with her pic....

It seems the captains are allowed some "slack" 😉

Someone told me it's all happening at the zoo.

I do believe it.

I do believe it's true.

Another day, another adventure with our California grandson.  Making memories.

How about a camel ride?

There isn't enough talk in this world to get me to eat a roasted cricket or any cricket.

That is Wonderful!  Makes me very happy to hear.   I would love to see the cats seapass.  Is that on her webpage?

Wow, another great day.    Everything is beautiful except for the bats.  You know he's not going to want to leave if everyday is an adventure.   Keep having fun and enjoying your time with him!

Finally!!!  Went back to the gym this morning for the first time in 16 months.  Felt so good to be back for the workouts and seeing people I haven't seen in all these months.  People are slowly coming back but there's been a lot of membership cancellations.

One thing I was not pleased to see was when I stepped on the scale there.  My scale at home has been lying to me!  I thought I'd been doing a fairly good job at home but evidently not.  Now that I've been hit with the truth, I will have to work hard and keep at it to get myself back in shape.  This will be my new routine.
