bye-seaya Posted May 11, 2020 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2020 Hi! When you call the BCC phone # they provide the email address as part of their phone message. BLUECHIPCLUB@CELEBRITY.COM. Sorry for the caps, not yelling - it’s a copy & paste from google. i hope this helps. 😀
fluffybunny22 Posted May 12, 2020 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2020 I got the email offer and there's no phone number to call. You have to submit a form and they'll call you. I read somewhere they laid off the majority of the staff so that's probably why you can't call.
Alabaster Cruiser Posted May 12, 2020 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2020 I got the offer and filled out my 3 preferences on Friday. I got an email today that says they are processing it and will call with confirmation on or before May 25th. Hope they don't run out of free balconies😃
timf264 Posted May 12, 2020 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2020 I called last Friday. I was on hold for a hour and somebody picked up and the call dropped. Called back sat on hold for 17 minutes and call dropped. Called back sat on hold for an hour and 20 minutes and was booked on the Edge for New Years Week for fees/tips. Well worth the 2.5 hours for a $5500 cruise! I wouldn't trust waiting 2 weeks and them saying we have cabins left.
MaryZ Posted May 12, 2020 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2020 I sat on hold last friday for over 2 hours and we are on the apex in february 2021 for 14 nights. I would not wait for them to call.
Alabaster Cruiser Posted May 13, 2020 #7 Share Posted May 13, 2020 We already have booked 2 cruises with this offer that came out about 3 weeks previously. This one has a new code on it so if they call we will book 2 more, if not, so be it....we are happy.
Ktuluorion Posted May 13, 2020 #8 Share Posted May 13, 2020 I got the email and submitted my preferences, no call back yet. Can anyone confirm if they give you any perks (beverages, etc) with this offer? Also, what is the cancellation policy should things get crazy again from covid? It's also worth mentioning I checked off the "willing to pay to upgrade" box.. any idea how much this could cost me to move up to Aqua or Suite? Thanks for any info -- this is my first time seeing anything like this.
jessykaw Posted May 13, 2020 #9 Share Posted May 13, 2020 We booked an offer a couple of weeks ago. Did the whole 2 hour wait to have the call dropped. I ended up calling right at 9 a.m. the next day and got our rooms booked. We received the second offer last week and filled out the form. We never heard anything, so I called and waited for 30 minutes today I was able to book our second offer.
Alabaster Cruiser Posted May 13, 2020 #10 Share Posted May 13, 2020 Ok...so I broke down and called today. Waited about 35 minutes and booked 2 more balconies. We now have 4 booked. I hope we get to sail at least one of them!
tarps14 Posted May 13, 2020 #11 Share Posted May 13, 2020 (edited) Can someone post the phone # for Blue Chip Club? It would be very appreciated. Never mind, I found it. But for future reference, the number is (866)461-7170. Edited May 13, 2020 by tarps14
SlwVegas Posted May 13, 2020 #12 Share Posted May 13, 2020 I have a quick question on the Blue Chip offer. I called and booked a balcony on the Apex sailing Feb 13. The first room offered was a E5, infinite veranda with 50% obstruction. They also had regular verandas with a 35% obstruction available but I didn't think to ask if they had infinite verandas with less of an obstruction. I understand they may already be reserved, but do they typically have an infinite veranda offering with less than a 50% obstruction? I don't mind an obstruction but 50% seems like alot. The room is 6241 and I tried to look for photos of a comparable room on the Edge but have been unsuccesful. Also, for those of you who have been on the Edge, do you prefer the infinite veranda or regular veranda better? I may call and see if I can be moved to a different room. I appreciate the feedback! coloradocruiselover88 Posted May 14, 2020 #13 Share Posted May 14, 2020 Booked the offer and have confirmation with cabin #9115 for Jan 16, 2021 on the Apex. Happy with free cabin. Any idea if they let you bid on upgrades?

Can't speak for everyone, but last week I got an email - completely out of the blue by the way - offering me a complimentary cruise. I was quite surprised, as I play some blackjack, but I wouldn't have thought enough to get this offer. I'm in the Onyx level (one level up from the bottom) in the Blue Chip Club. Anyway, there were a fairly wide assortment of ships and sail dates to choose from. There was a link to click, and they asked for your first, second and third choice of sailing. I submitted it on a Thursday, Friday I got a booking confirmation for my first choice cruise, and 11-night on Reflection next February. Monday, I got a call to confirm the details. The only cost to me was taxes and fees. Harris Denver, CO
cheeseheads4ever Posted May 14, 2020 #16 Share Posted May 14, 2020 Wow that’s great, we are ONYX as well. Wonder if it would pay to call Blue Chip Club just to ask? Or maybe beg? Thoughts. We didn’t get an email.

cheeseheads4ever Posted May 14, 2020 #18 Share Posted May 14, 2020 I checked on Blue Chip Clubs online and the number does not match the 866-461-7170. So I’m guessing this is a special number to call that you got after they called you back?
