On the road again and on our way to Iceland for a pre-cruise stay before boarding Symphony.

 

A visit to the airline lounge and now in flight. We are splitting the travel up to multiple days.

Here in Maine - heard on the news yesterday that Bar Harbor which had instituted a 1000 passenger limit a few years ago will now probably vote on making that 3200 a day - guess business are really hurting due to the limit. Residents who aren't in the visitor support business hate the cruise ships and tourists but...   Time will tell.

my children planned this cruise as a birthday surprise for me.  we are all going on the cruise together including my granddaughter who is 10.  it was very nice of them to do this for my 80th birthday.

This will coincide with the photo of the Golden Gate Bridge I posted on Monday. We took the ferry from SF to Tiberon (Marin County near Sausalito) for a delicious Labor Day weekend lobster brunch. 
Photos are lobster corn soup, lobster ceviche and lobster pasta. 🦞

Tie me down and inject that lobster/corn soup directly into my veins!  Sweet corn at the height of the season combined with succulent lobster(I'd take about 20% of the lobster and puree it into the soup, combine the rest as morsels.)

 

Stand back, I'm off to the fishmonger(then the market!)
