"BINGO!"  It's 4:00 pm and I just won at the Bingo session and they are coming to me to get the Bingo card confirmed.  I just won $2,500 and I can use that cash to purchase the next cruise.  Hey, if you are going dream, you might as well go for it.

If I’m onboard then I’m going to going back to the cabin in awhile. Relax, shower and get ready for dinner in the MDR.  At home I have dinner ready between 4:30-5:00pm. My sweet hubby gets home from work by 4:00pm.

So, even on land vacations or cruise vacations our body clocks say it’s dinner time.  Plus, we like to get that done, so we can catch the early Comedy Club, shows, etc.

🛳🛳

1:19 AM - We have been back in the cabin for a bit from the late comedy show.  Room service just delivered a late night snack for both of us. We are talking about what we are going to do tomorrow while everybody heads to a port day and we have the ship to ourselves.  🙂

My watch says 3:20 pm.  I'm closing my eyes now.  I'm on a Carnival Cruise to somewhere and it's a seaday!

I'm at tea time, enjoying my green tea and those delicious little cakes and sandwiches.

Check your watch...close your eyes....and let us know what you're doing on your Carnival Cruise.

7:55am  I have already seen the sunrise.  Now I am trying to figure out am I going to have Huevos Ranchero from Blue Iguana or am I going to sit down in the dining room for steak and eggs.  Depends if it is a sea day or port day.

Thank you, MsTabbyKats, for this post!  I loved reading all the responses and can't wait to be on another cruise!

Sea Day, I am in my happy place any time I can just sit and look at the water and listen to the sounds of the ocean!

Exactly one year ago today, at this hour, we were in Progreso at the Hotel Reef Yucatan(booked through Carnival), on an all inclusive day pass. It was an incredible resort, and had a great time, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat if we ever make it back to Progreso.

I am leaving a fun Trivia round, heading to the casino to donate my $40 bucks, then when I have lost it, heading to the coffee shop for a skim milk latte and a big chocolate cookie. I wish!

It's 7:58 p.m.  I have finished dinner,  just picked up a cup of coffee on the Lido (along with a second dessert...LOL) and I am headed up to the smoking area, the sun has just set, and the  "hour of blue" is beginning.  I notice a few planets beginning to shine, and the moonlight is twinkling on the top of the waves.

6:30 pm  Dinner is done, we head to the casino. We get a round of fresh drinks at the bar.
At 7:05 pm, I finally hit a slot jackpot of $785,000!!!

This cruise just became a lot more interesting, as did retirement. Lol.

Now it's 10am and I just finished a quick workout in the gym.  I'm amazed at how busy the ship is as I walked through the lido deck back to my room.  My DH and I have a cup of coffee and a chocolate muffin (love those!) from room service that was ordered the night before.  So peaceful, watching the waves break from our balcony.  Sigh😎

  • 3 weeks later...

So much negativity here today....I need to resurrect this.

The pandemic is over and believe or not, Sept 2021 Magic to Canada is sailing along, smoothly.

It's 8:25 pm and I close my eyes so I can feel the gentle movement of the ship.  I know that in a few hours it will rock me to sleep.

We are in the theatre right now....early show as always.  We're in the fourth row, by the aisle.  Since Carnival shows aren't in traditional theatres, I find this the best view.  It's a good show, good dancing and singing.  I like the costumes; lots of glitter!

Where are you?
