It was the second photo that gave me the clue. When I lived there in my teens and twenties the apartment building in the background used to be the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Those were the days when you could actually go onboard ships that friends were sailing on - I remember going on the Achilles Lauro once - then streamers were thrown as the ship left the wharf. It was also a function venue and I went to several balls there.

Now for a complete change of scene. This place has many beautiful stained glass windows in all sorts of colour combos. Here is one in lovely ocean shades. Where was I?

I was blown away by the light inside this amazing place, it was like being inside a box full of precious gems. Photos just didn't do it justice. It was just glorious!

I agree. The Segrada Familia is one of the most amazing buildings I have ever seen. Fantastic. I took dozens of photos.

Agreed - too many trees. Also the rocks aren't as red as those in the centre of Australia.
