Next Diamond & Platinum Gift

I just had a funny thought.  I bet we get Carnival Logo face masks for our gift if cruising resumes in Nov.  I wouldn't mind it, except that too many people would have identical masks- too easy to pick up the wrong one after a drink or 2.

I don't think that would be appropriate. Especially when they could sell a ton in the gift shops.

We've received many P/D gifts that had siblings in the shops.  Tervis tumblers, lanyards, baseball caps, photo frames, all sorts of bags.  A simple change of design is all that's needed.  A mask fills a need, like a baseball cap.  Not everyone liked those baseball caps.

IF we cruise this year & IF our Diamond/Platinum gift is a mask (BIG IFS) I will write our names in them & keep them as a souvenir of 2020.

There are a few web sites that sell Carnival Cruise and cruise related face masks. I don't think I'm allowed to mention them specifically. Just go to Google and type "Carnival Cruise face masks" in the search bar.

Those Baseball caps must have been awhile ago. I haven't received a baseball cap the last three years. Right now I'm using the Beach bag and beach mat which I think may be from the casino cruises but they're great gifts nonetheless.

The baseball cap is my personal favorite. It was several years ago. We do get plenty of use out of the Tervis tumblers.

Yes the tumblers are great! We also use the nightlights. I guess that's why there was that pushback when they gave out the lanyards which weren't even of good quality. Ooops, brought up a sore point!;)

Oh how I long for the days when the "worst" things about cruising were all the now-obviously-petty issues like D&P gifts and line cutters.

 

Maybe the D&P gifts could be mini-binoculars so that you can peer at the islands you aren't visiting while on your 8 day three-foreign-port cruise to Nassau, Half-Moon Cay, and Princess Cay.  They'll still sail past St Kitts & Nevis, just not stop...

Diamond members will receive a booster coupon that can be redeemed at any number of locations throughout the ship and avoid the lines at the infirmary.
