Princess Casino Comp Offers

I had a Princess comp casino offer that expired in April.  Then the same (great) comp offer came with

an extended Expiration date to book by end of August. For Princess cruises thru Nov. 2021.

I booked it as it was really too good to pass up.

Has anyone received any New casino comp offers with later book by date?

Guess I'm curious if we will receive any more offers, or if by booking That one, finishes our comp offers?

I have not received any offers in the mail or email since a few weeks after the shutdown.  The offers that I use to get were for specific cruises, tournament cruises, and prestige cruises.  I also book through my land casino which usually gives me 2 cruises, and the site no longer offers the  comped section, and my host never gave me the voucher which I typically get in June.

I'm sorry, I got the name incorrect, it is "prestige" Princess Players Club offer. Usually, they are better cruise itineraries to select from and they have different packages you can select like a free excursion. The last one I selected was a cruise that went out of Southampton to Ireland, Scotland, and France. I think it was a 12 day, but was canceled due to covid.

I've received 5 of these Princess offers, including the one that came yesterday.  I got Interior with $250 though.  I booked 3 of the 4 previously offered.  I'm running out of $, friends and time off of work to keep doing these.  I'm also not sure if it's worth the offer.  The perks offered with each cruise is pretty good (Princess plus, cabin upgrade), but with comp cruise, we get 0 perks.

Not sure what you mean about 0 perks?

Off the top of my head, my comp cruise includes balcony, gratuities, freeplay, wifi, drinks.....

It might be the casino Level you are?

I mean what the public is offered with booking the cruise.  With the comp cruise, they don't honor what is offered with a regular cruise booking.  I received comp cruises with Norwegian and they comp the public offers when you book a comp cruise, but Princess doesn't.

freecruiser,

I think it may be your Princess casino comp (inside cabin) Level offer.

Mine is balcony, and comp perks same as whats offered to the public, and more.

I used to think NCL casino comp is better (I'm Platinum on NCL).

But to this day, NCL only comped me Inside cabins, which is hogwash.

I would always have to pay Upgrade cost to OV or balcony on Ncl & get charged

"Admin Fee" on Ncl casino comp offers.

That would be another big cost on top of a comp booking.😑

FYI- If you book your cruise and it comes with Freeplay?  I suggest making a Print copy of

your Travel Summary to take with you onboard.

I went on Princess site today to copy mine, and the freeplay wasn't there.😲

So I called P casino Reserv # to inquire.

She said my Freeplay had been frozen, and didn't know why......

What?

So she called Supervisor to get it corrected.

As soon as she fixed it, I Printed the Travel Summary Pages for PROOF.

Will have it with me onboard to show Casio Cashier, just in case they don't have

a record of it.

Does anyone have recent experience with cancelling one of the " free" cruises. I know I will loose all the perks that came with the offer, but what about my actual money paid for port fees and taxes, and the $100 per person deposit that was to be given back as OBC?  Our is scheduled for January 10, and just not feeling confident that they will be ready.

We waited for Princess to cancel our compt casino cruses. Then  requested & got the refund of all that we paid-port chgs, $200 casino deposit, & insurance. But Princess took the longest  to get our refund to us, compared to Royal & Carnival.

Latest offer is Princess Ultimate VIP cruise. Choice of dates thru Jan. 2022.

Later the better, IMO.  Must book by Jan. 5

Has anyone done these Ultimates vs. other casino comp offers?

Is this where theres tons of casino players & you can't hardly play, every seat taken?

We are offered a mini suite & $500 Freeplay, which is nice.

But our regular comp cruise offers are more freeplay, but balcony.

First time I've been comped minisuite....

Any info appreciated.

I did one a few years ago, you are exactly right. The casino was so crowded you could hardly move. I vowed never to do one again, not worth it...

We just got the same offer in the mail - to book by Jan 5. (1st offer since before the pandemic started!) Also for us, first time minisuite!  But ours said its a VIP offer, & if you go on them, you have a chance to get the Ultimate VIP invite later. Also now noticed there is a deposit of $200 each-$400 per cabin-to be used as onboard credit. In the past it was a more reasonable $100 each-$200 per cabin. This also said that all gratuities(also drinks & internet) were covered, so  we wouldnt be using the onboard credit for grats., as we did in the past.

Just booked a 15 day Hawaii cruise around Xmas, unreal...couldn't believe it, we actually got a free Hawaii cruise for tax + 200 deposit. Are you kidding me? Hawaii? Near Xmas? This is a 3k cruise pp, so Princess is giving out 6k usd for fun now? How?

Who ever is in charge of this marketing scheme should be fired, I am not complaining as a free offer qualifier but man cruise lines need to smarten up offers like these are killing cruise lines.

Also the offer we got is good for 3 sailings that's 6k x 3 we basically get up to 18k usd free cruise credits how generous but shortsighted.

Oh and as a cherry on top you get a shot to qualify yet for another free "ultimate vip cruise" which pushes free value to 20k usd. You heard it here folks no lie or scam this is a real promo we just got.

We got the offer too just a few days ago but you are not correct, gratuities and drinks are not included you need to pay for Princess Plus package 40/pp per day for unlimited.

The offer is strictly for free balcony + 200 returnable credit per person and taxes as you mentioned. Doesn't say free drinks or grat anywhere.

Also shame on you for complaining that its 200$ vs 100$ deposit for a FREE CRUISE! This promo is the reason cruise lines are in trouble why you so ungrateful? Horrible mistake to give away free cruises like this, 3k per person free cruise and you complainin? 99% of people don't qualify, can't believe we got this offer. We are the poorest of the poor, and we are about to ride 3 free cruises haha what a great Xmas, how come others are not amazed at this offer?

People wake-up Princess is giving away free cruises and people pretending like they knew about this and act like it's normal? Wow.

If you play in the casino, you know that to qualify for these 'free' cruises, you have to spend a lot of money & hours in the casino-win or lose. Most of the time we pay much more in there, than the price of the cabin & drinking in there. They make money by getting us on the ship. We do about 20 a year, only 1 or 2 are Princess(live in FL). By having the deposit doubled, they are smart-forcing you to pay more for onboard things like drinks, excursions, shops, etc. We dont do excursions anymore(been to all those places many times) or spend on drinks(which Royal-no deposit & Carnival-$100 each deposit, gives us only while in the casino no charge-we only tip them).

Since March, Royal & Carnival (not Princess) have sent us many casino offers -wanting to get us back on the ships. Many of their paying cruisers are afraid & not booking, so whatever it takes, the ships will do for now.

Are you kidding right now? I dont know how or why I got this offer but I am about to maximize the eff out of it. I am going on all 3 voyages, loading up on the food and going to all the welcome parties for the free drinks, sit at the art auctions for free drinks, attend every show... i am squeezing every dollar out of this, I dont have a lot of net income nor does my wife but we will make sure we take advantage of this offer.. Granted for some reason we are given the absolute basic minimum of no free drinks no free play no grats, all we get is a free room and VIP perks, so what? That is 3 free cruises of my choice up to 15 days each. WOW! I dont know why anyone else isnt jumping at the chance to essentially be given 15,000$ of cruise travel credits,  good luck having 15k money to spend on a vacation. I think we spent 15k total over the past 10 years of traveling, for us that is quite a lot. To be given 15k of cruises to just cruise around on 3 cruises for a year is INSANE DEAL i cant not believe others are not thinkin the same.
