Kiwi Kruzer Posted September 21, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2020 All of NZ has now been moved down to Level 1 , except Auckland which will move from Level 2 1/2 to 2 at midnight tonight and remain there for a further 2 weeks ,and if Auckland has been very good they can move to Level 1 in 2 weeks . Zero cases have been reported again .

Rare MicCanberra Posted September 21, 2020 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2020 Great news for you all. Apparently, Air NZ said no Aussie flights until after March, so you all should be covid free for a lot longer.

We have an election on 16 Oct - there is going to be no sensible discussion of travel bubbles until the 17th I think. Interestingly looking at flights to Japan from NZ . Currently there is one a week and a policy that you can get a refund from AirNZ up to 1 day before for any reason. The one way fare Akl-Narita - $1300, on the 1st April the fare is 1/2 that. That fare is also refundable with a $150 penalty per a trip. From the 1st of April there are 2 flights day rather than one a week. Its almost like they think there maybe a travel bubble in early April...
