You know when you sit at the Alchemy Bar for Happy Hour, and they include that nice little plate of olives and cheese bites ?   So what kind of cheese IS that?  We’d like to serve it here at Casa Oblivious.  I’m sure it would taste better at sea, but . .....

Most Americans don't know that. I would guess an American Swiss cheese, perhaps from

Maybe if cruising restarts, I will remember to ask the Food Manager.

It's Kraftmmental and it's delicious. The olives are from here in California and I can't speak for the origin of the mixed nuts 😉

That cheese is defective, it has holes in it.  I would send it back.

China sent a man to Switzerland to learn how to make cheese. He Emailed that after observing the process he knows what they are doing wrong. He said he can make the cheese in China without the holes.

In all the times we've hung out at Alchemy, we were never offered such delightful treats.  Is it something they stopped doing a few years ago, or have we just been unlucky?  Or only certain ships bothered to offer it?  We've been on Liberty, Breeze, and Sunshine.  Plus Elation, but that didn't have an Alchemy bar at the time (it does now).

And for the record, I love Swiss Emmental style cheeses, but my wife is not so fond of them - she likes pretty well every other type of cheese, so that's a little odd to me...
