Website no help...can’t get thru to Carnival on phone and we can’t ask anyone for a PCC..what the heck are you supposed to do? Time is getting short!!!

Did you book directly with Carnival or through a TA/Big box store?

If directly or website just keep trying by phone. If TA you need to go through them, same as Big Box Store.

I know this doesn't help you, but we always book with a TA.  They do all the dirty work for you.

LOL, but you lose control.🤣

The OP did their own booking. Somehow the panic in their post does not seem to imply total control of their booking.😢

We always used to book directly through Carnival online or phone but since all this we started using one of their PVPs ..we just email him and he calls us right back ..he knows all the ins and outs of the cancellations/rebookings/OBC so its very easy.

Called yesterday connected within a minute after pressing 4 "already booked on a Carnival Cruise" same as last 3 times ive called.  Is strange how some cant get through and others are connected right away.

I have the same issues with my PVP. I spoke with him briefly Friday and when I called back it went straight to his Vmail and left my message. He does not work on the weekends so I'm not expecting anything until Monday. Monday came and I never heard from him which is very unusual. I called him and it went to his voicemail but it just the generic message with his extension number. I called several times and finally called Customer service and was told he is still showing active PVP with Carnival. I sent him and email and he has not responded either. My friend has the same issues not being able to get in touch with PVP. Calling Customer Service is not really helpful. I just have to keep trying I guess.

I put the emoji in so one would know that I did not really mean it. I was just referring to what many who say they will never use a travel agent have said their reason was.

All of our Carnival cruises are casino promotions and there is a special phone number to call when cancelling or rebooking which we have had to do a number of times this year due to Covid. I never have to wait as the calls are answered right away and what I need done is handled within a few minutes. That doesn't help the OP now, but might help in the future if casino promotion cruises are booked. Calling first thing when Carnival opens in the morning might help the OP in getting through to an agent.

We never use a PVP or a travel agent on Carnival. We do use a PVP on Holland America, however, as our casino promotions come from her and Holland isn't as user friendly when trying to cancel and rebook during Covid. In this case, it is nice to have her handle the changes for us and she either answers her phone right away or calls back as soon as she can.

Thru carnival directly..been trying all day to get thru

Moral of the story....ALWAYS get the name and the extension number of your PVP.    When you call CCL, you can enter the extension number and get directly connected with your PVP.

During 2020 with multiple rescheduled cruises with FCC, I had 2 separate calls in to PVPs.  Each time they did not take care of the FCC/deposits properly and I attempted to call back.  I was told one time that they were busy with another call (well then dont answer!!) and another time, PVP never returned call.  Now, I either handle it online or speak to someone else who I can understand clearly and fixes the problem.  I usually get very good help with Carnivals reps but occasionally get the duds.  I

My PVP number and extension are always one the promotional emails that I get from carnival.  Even casino promotions.
