Daily sunrise photo

This morning. Hopefully the photo will show the colours of the mast lights as the sun catches them.

With a shot of the Atlantic location when taken. From deck 13 QM2.

Not sure it can be a sunrise, I woke even later today. But it's quite nice.

Should say it's from deck 13 around midships on QM2 today. T/A eastbound.

@D&N I suspect a sad morning for you as you are likely to be at the end of your journey.

Another sunset today, this one from my 2015 Prinsendam Baltic/British Isles combination.  On June 12 we visited Galway, Ireland.

It's been great, but we really love where we live. It's first we've left it for this long in over 6 years. And our cats await!

They will sulk, however contented they have been in your absence. Perhaps tomorrow we can have sunrise with cats. 😀

Today's sunrise is from my 2009 Blount voyage from Chicago to New Orleans.  In June 13 I disembarked Niagara Prince in New Orleans.  As I look again this actually has to be sunset on the 12th.

I have one from this morning; 14 June 2022. Sun rising over Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat as before but taken from a different window.

Not possible to pose cats in mid air outside window so I've added them from a selfie recently taken with and by their cousin.IMG_20220614_060512014_HDR.thumb.jpg.860fa3695d7ec6f944836ffba2f3e8fd.jpg

This is sunset over Cape Disappointment, mouth of the Columbia River. This is where Lewis and Clark first reached the Pacific Ocean. They came across to Fort Clatsop in Oregon for the winter.

. The crossing from the Columbia River into the Pacific Ocean is one of the most treacherous in the world. Over 3,000 ships have sunk on this coast. Photo taken from Astoria, Oregon, June 16, 2022, sun angle 309 degrees. DH made me say that.
