Too much OBC

I would check first to make sure the extra $100 wasn't for booking, or from a TA.  Other than than, you could complain to your local bartender.  🍷

Did you upgrade to elevate or indulge package? Elevate gives you $200 pp for sore excursions. indulge gives you $200 pp for shore excursions plus $200 pp OBC.

I think this is the answer.  Yes I have Elevate.  I was looking at a doc from TA, obviously incorrect.

 

Edit:  I just did a test booking in Aqua class with Elevate.  It says $150 pp.

The OBC will be issued per person to all guests in the stateroom and is tiered by length of sailing.

Elevate - $100 1-5nights; $150 6-9 nights; $200 10 nights or more

Indulge- $200 1-5nights; $300 6-9 nights; $400 10 nights or more

Mine is 7 night with elevate so it doesn't fit into that pattern.

Oh they do.  It was supposed to be $300 X and $300 TA.  I'll keep the extra $100 from X.  I believe it's only for excursions (not sure).  I

Maybe I'll use the TA OBC for champagne or a nice dinner.

Depending upon who your TA is and whether XX gave them hidden OBC for a promotion to pass on to you, I'd ask the TA if the OBC came from XX or the TA and if it's refundable.

 

Obviously XX OBC is non refundable (use it or lose it).  However if it's from your TA and not in conjunction with an XX promotion, you can actually go to guest services and they'll peel out the cash.  You don't have to spend it on XX if you don't want to.

 

And that mi amigo, you can take to the bank. 😁

If it was from TA I would have $600 not $400.  So I'm pretty sure it came from X.

When we've been unable to spend all our OBC, we were allowed to use it for additional tips, for people we nominated, or for general crew welfare fund.
