It is no possible to get diamond in one cruise 🙄

So you might have to take a 3 day cruise beforehand but still pretty quick.

Does the MGM partnership allow you get in C&A before any sailings?

Also, if you sign up with the Loyalty Ambassador once you get on the ship are all the multipliers then active?

Those who have complementary casino cruises ( pay only taxes and fees ) can move up the ranks pretty quickly.  We'd all be pinnacle if we didn't have to pay  for cruises.

There are some couples  who sail solo on a complementary casino cruise.   Once  the  cruising  spouse reaches a C&A level, the other spouse is awarded the same level.  There is nothing wrong  with this routine, it does not go against any rules.  Bravo to those who figured it out.

A few years ago, it was cheaper to book me solo in a JS and my spouse in an interior.   We didn't stay in the  interior,  but  kept all the gratuities in place so the  cabin  attendant was compensated.  We told him we would not use the room so in effect he had a break from  cleaning a cabin .  I got triple points for the cruise.

There are creative ways to get points.    With potential changes in C&A benefits, not sure I'd  point chase now.

If you are new you have no points and therefore no benefits. Points are awarded after the completion of the cruise.

But it is a good idea to sign up once on board.

So the title statement "In one Cruise "  is just not true :classic_rolleyes:

Overcrowding in the DL/CL used to be a bigger issue for me since I enjoyed going there for the nightly drinks. Now I just bite the bullet, buy the beverage package, and get drinks wherever. So RCI can cram in as many as they like as far as I'm concerned. 🤣🤣🤣

Confused, casino levels aren't matched.

Now a non gambling spouse 'might' give their sea pass to the gambling spouse to earn them Casino Royale status. Or so I'm told.

FWIW, I was under the impression you could sign up and get a C&A number prior to your first cruise

Ok, so if that's the case, the OP's statement is correct. 14 x 6 = 84

FWIW, we have booked almost every available category of cabin on Royal, and even a few unique ones. I like to be informed.

Not casino level - C&A LEVEL.   I never mentioned the casino level.

Regardless of how one reaches a C&A level, once one person reaches a C&A level, the  spouse is awarded the same level.

you can, yes, but they are considered “pre-gold” - no completed cruises.

the terms of the double points for C&A members says

“Double Points applies to new, individual, and named existing bookings on all Eligible Sailings made through June 30, 2021. Double Points is available to existing Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle Crown & Anchor Society members.”.

not sure it would help the OP here.  @NightOnemay need to get in a short cruise ahead of his 14 day cruise IF this is the first cruise ?

I’m sure you know-you are a seasoned cruiser.

Cruising solo on a casino comp. A good way to get C&A points /new higher status ( double for solo ) relatively inexpensively and fast.   Nothing improper-just a way to maximize C&A points and maybe get to a higher C&A tier. Then the non traveling spouse also gets the new higher C&A status.   I’m sure you’ve heard about the process.

But you have to lose a boatload of cash to get consistent offers. 🤣🤣

I'm a base Prime, and don't get any😉

There are couples where one spouse is a more serious casino player than the other.  Or one simply cruises more often than the other.

I know several couples that because of one spouse were able to capitalize and get to a new C&A category.

No  issues with that. In fact they are pretty  smart.

Is a boatload more or less than a shipload of cash ??

Maybe it would of been quicker if you applied for Singapore citizenship. 🤣🤣

Guilty as charged 😅  Gold to Diamond over the last couple of months thanks to the Quantum sailings. But hey, they're cheap in JS and I was probably going to take those voyages anyway.

I have already sailed on Royal so I could go to Diamond as I described. 🙂

With this current C&A point doubling promo going on it is technically possible to go from a newbie to a Diamond in the C&A in just ONE 14-day cruise in a suite as a solo. (or B2B 7 day cruises)

Diamond Plus in just 5 7-day cruises or 4 7-day and 1 3-Day.

So pretty quick

Pinnacle possible in under 6 months

That seems like it would add a lot more to the roster and dilute the exclusiveness

A single I. A suite would get 4 points per night, so a 14 night cruise would give you 56 points. Not the 80 needed for Diamond.
