Balconies on Caribbean Princess

Can anyone tell me whether the balconies on both sides aft on deck 10 on the Caribbean Princess are larger than those on decks 11 or 12.  In the deck plans they appear to be larger or are the rooms smaller and the balconies larger.

Balcony cabins are all the same size.  However Caribe deck balconies are deeper and half covered.  Ask on the Princess board here for more info.  When you have a question about a particular line or ship, best to ask on the board here for that line.  More people will see it there.  EM

If you nab a larger balcony make sure you tick NO UPGRADES in case you get upgraded to a higher grade midships cabin on a different deck with a smaller balcony.

Keep in mind that you can't do this online. You have to request Princess or your TA to do it for you. Plus there is no guarantee that you won't get moved. A "no upgrade" is a request only.

Thanks for all the info..I think we will take these larger balconies and hope that we don't get "upgraded".  Thanks for pointing that out.

Just ask your T.A. or Princess if you booked direct to mark your booking "no upgrade." If your category is B1 or B2 then there are no balcony categories higher, just mini suites and full suites. The chance of an upgrade are slim at best. But, if your category is BD or BE then there are plenty of higher balcony categories with the smaller 9ft x 5ft balcony. In this case the no upgrade is important. We have been booking cat. BD on deck 10 of grand class ships for years & years. We always have our booking marked no upgrade. It has worked so far.

we would have ours marked no upgrade unless full suite with balcony ... mini's aren't for us with the shower/tub combo ... something else for the OP to maybe think about
