Desert Cruisers Posted May 2, 2021 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2021 Do the extra berths for passengers #3 and #4 come out from the side walls or down from the cabin ceiling?
Rare Colin_Cameron Posted May 2, 2021 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2021 I don’t have personal experience, but the only photos I have seen show the 3rd/4th berths lowered from the ceiling.

Lynnewob Posted May 3, 2021 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2021 From the ceiling - as can be seen in the one photo below.
Elephant1151 Posted May 4, 2021 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2021 Some cabins have a sofa bed which is great for a third person. Others a bed which will come from the ceiling over the sofa. So the king size bed is not affected and there is still plenty of room. These are great cabins but sell out quickly especially on the longer trips. Ray66 Posted May 4, 2021 #7 Share Posted May 4, 2021 (edited) I've never been in an inside cabin but this photo was posted on this forum a few years ago Edited May 4, 2021 by Ray66

I should have added that if it's a balcony cabin you're thinking of booking the third bed is a sofa bed, not sure if they do a balcony cabin for 4. Check the deck plans. The sofa bed is returned to a sofa during the day but for the life of me I can't remember if they push the pull downs back into the ceiling. Someone here will remember. Elephant1151 Posted May 4, 2021 #9 Share Posted May 4, 2021 Yes they do put the pull downs back into the ceiling during the day.
Covepointcruiser Posted May 4, 2021 #10 Share Posted May 4, 2021 Where do they put the ladder for accessing the top bunk? Is there room at the foot of the bed?
sbcs5390 Posted August 1, 2021 #11 Share Posted August 1, 2021 Does anyone know in the balcony cabins with the “Single sofa bed” if the bed folds out longways into the cabin or if it goes essentially horizontal, limiting how much of the cabin floor space it takes up? Have been on ships before with that sort of sofa bed.
oceansandseas Posted August 2, 2021 #12 Share Posted August 2, 2021 The single sofa bed pulls out and it goes right in front of the balcony door. Extremely hard to get out on the balcony with the sofa pulled out as a bed. This was on Queen Victoria.
