Absolutely Disgusted by Royal Caribbean

And you believe this is so based on what information?

Per the CDC:

Fully Vaccinated Travelers

  • Cruise ship operators, at their discretion, may advise passengers and crew that—if they are fully vaccinated—they may gather or conduct activities outdoors, including engaging in extended meal service or beverage consumption, without wearing a mask.
  • Cruise ship operators, at their discretion, may advise crew who are fully vaccinated that they do not have to wear a mask or maintain physical distance in areas of the ship that are inaccessible to passengers.
  • Cruise ship operators, at their discretion, may designate areas as only accessible to fully vaccinated passengers and crew where masks and physical distancing are not required (e.g., casinos; bars; spas; entertainment venues; and dining areas, including self-serve buffets).
  • For ships with at least 95% of crew and 95% of passengers fully vaccinated, cruise ship operators, at their discretion, may advise passengers and crew that they do not have to wear a mask or maintain physical distance in any areas.                                                                                                                                                                                  Jonathan

You need to realize that we don't live in a state that handles change very well. I'm actually surprised we are average

No kidding. Lived here more than 20 years. We don’t handle a lot of things well. But I do love the sunshine.

Baltimore is in MD, limits on ship size though.

But you are on point that there is no way to replace the combined capacity of Miami, Pt Canaveral, Pt Everglades, and Tampa. To think otherwise is ludicrous

You are absolutely correct, and not one of those ships has a FlowRider, hence, they have no ships sailing from there, they have Bahamas cruises, which are just drinking and gambling cruises...

LOL…live in fear.

The pandemic is over. And it was never all that big a deal to begin with. It has a mortality rate that is barely worse than normal seasonal flu.

Hope you cancel. Hope every last one of you cancels. More fun for everyone else who most certainly does not need your Karen attitudes on board ever.

This is NOT January of 2020 anymore and doctors now know exactly how to treat people with Wuhan flu. So the mortality rate today is hugely less than it was then. Normies are ready to get back to life, vaccinated or unvaccinated. Only terrified and paranoid neurotics are still worried about this crap.

Herd immunity does NOT depend on everyone getting a vaccination. Herd immunity is a combination of the vaccinated, the previously infected and those with natural immunity. We are there. We have been there for weeks. The infection numbers and death numbers confirm this.

But continue to live in fear. Or in the delusion that you have control over the time and place of your death.

No one here gets out alive. And until it’s over the normies are going to enjoy life now that lockdown idiocy is finally over.

Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!   This has got to be the best reply I've seen here!!!!!!!!!    Chuck, you are rockin' it and totally 100% spot on!!!!!!

Not really, give me a FlowRider and a diamond lounge and I am good to sail.

However, after visiting a time share in 1985 while watching the Cardinal’s lose to the Royals at an ant infested old Holiday Inn in Kissimmee Florida, I got a ton of solicitations to take those cruises to the Bahamas in the mail.  On the upside the hotel room and 3 days at Disney cost only 189.00 plus tax.  Since I was a poor gradual student at the time it was quite a bargain!

So FlowRide as much as they will allow, and then drinking in the evening while eating and going to shows and then getting up early the next morning for advanced Stand-Up is pretty much my daily existence on the ship. Morning is devoted to surfing, afternoon making the DW happy so she will let me book another cruise later, and drinking helps that, puts her and I to sleep....

repeat.

I am kind of sad and pathetic.😂

O, you meant Disney Land not Diamond Lounge.  Yeah, not a big mouse fan, if they had more adult rides, I would visit them at least one time a decade.  Last time we were at any Florida theme park we did both the Universal parks, and Seaworld.  I think Seaworld sucks, but it is at least as good as Disney.  That was 2010.  Will I ever return to any?  I like rides, as long as they don’t threaten to break my brain like Dr. Freeze at St Louis Six Flags.

I am complete a DL fan....  I like the hanging at the bar and watching the other patrons, playing their DL games, trying to pick out the Pins the first night is always a fun way to pass an hour....  Yeah, I like everything about that.

You may be interested to know that on RCCL’s small luxury line, Silversea, which will be sailing around Greece with many more scheduled around the world this summer will be 100% vaccinated but you still need to be tested multiple times before , during and after, you must wear a mask unless eating or sitting outside while social distancing, you can’t get off the ship unless with a Silversea tour.  vaccinated cruises are still super restrictive

The Royal Caribbean vaccinated cruises sailing from Nassau, Bahamas are far less restrictive that Silversea and you don't have to book the cruise lines excursions either.

Talk about picking out Pinns -- one of the funniest things I ever experienced on a cruise was on an elevator when a Pinn stepped in wearing a Pinnacle Pin for the whole world to see. Someone in the elevator said to him (sarcastically),  "Is this your first cruise?"  The look on that man's face was something between sheer indignation and pure distress.

Would you like to discuss Germany in the late 30's. They marked certain citizens. Didn't end well. Pretty sure we as a country would find that abhorrent

Are you really clueless about the differences between (Seriously, the forum asterisks out that era of Germany?, 4 letters, has a Z) Germany, Concentration Camps, and Cruising for a week or two? That's just sad that you could possibly think identifying someone's status for the duration of a cruise with regard to potential transmission or susceptibility to a disease that can cause some significant, long lasting and/or permanent damage in any way has any measure of comparability to such horrendous acts.

Welcome to 2021, where some will feel that way about being singled out.

I’m cruising in October. I’m unvaccinated. I’m staying that way. Can’t wait to breath on all of you vaccinated paranoids.

I’ll be the one with the “Dr. Evil” name tag.

I'll be vaxxed. Breathe all over me.

MOOT point.  Mute means silent and there’s nothing silent about the vaccine debate!  Also the sun kills Covid?  Did I miss a fake newscast?!!!!

I think it was mentioned early on during the pandemic where it was also suggested that a bleach injection would also kill it.
