We're taking a 26 day cruise as 2 b2bs in Nov. We have green lane status for the 1st segment. Does that automatically include the 2nd segment? Thanks for any info.

You won’t need to check in at the terminal again, so it shouldn’t matter if you’re in the green lane or not.

That is correct.  You'll get an "In Transit" pass from Guest Services and will be able to skip the check-in line if you decide to get off.  You will also use the same Medallion for both sailings.

Greetings and peace to all!

We are counting the days until our Panama Canal Cruise historic lock full transit. My status on the app changed from green to blue.  Oh dear.... Keeping an eye on it to see if it resolves itself.

While it is still 47 days out, I want to make specialty dining reservations. Each time I try, it gives me a "whoops" error message. I miss the days when you could do this on-line in Cruise Personalizer. Do you think it's too far out for them to make the reservation? Or is it a glitch in the system?

What's worse, is because we have the Princess Premier package we have two nights of freebie specialty dining. The app shows we have credits...but, again, won't let you use it to make a reservation. I called the app help line....and they were able to "go behind the scenes" and give us the reservation and apply the credit...only to see it showed up charged on the credit card!!! Grrrrr.....we are told that is the way it has to be done in order to book the day and time we want....and then just go to Guest Services and they will issue OBC for the cost of specialty dining credit.

Anyone else with these kinds of problems? Or has this been discussed already here?

But what if you don’t want or need OBC?  Will they reverse the charge on your credit card?

I don't believe they will refund it back to your credit card on the ship.

But if you take the OBC and don't use it up, they will send you the refund check of the balance of all unused purchased OBC (not the free promo OBC) -- and that process can take forever. The last time we went that route it took over three months to get the bloody refund check!

If you have any OBC left go to the casino slot machine, charge it to your room and then cash out the casino cage for cash

Say what???  You're going to have to draw me pictures to explain this one.

I've certainly been able to cash out winnings from my casino adventures (big money! big money!)....but are you saying if I have let's say $275 left in OBC I should charge to my room $275 to my casino kitty and then I can simply cash it out at the casino cage?  That's genius!

When you charge to your room, you have credit on the machine. You either play or don’t play. When you cash out it goes into your bank. Then you cash out at the cage

Pure genius!!  I don't know why they can't do that for you at Guest Services!!

I'm guessing that doesn't apply for promo OBC, though? Like shareholders OBC or special give-away OBC? Just OBC that has been purchased?

A lot of us are not happy to see @GoDucksNation make that post. Suffice to say you can gamble in the casino - either slots or tables - by charging your stake money or chips to the cabin account. You need to play for a while, you can then cash out the balance which may or may not include winnings.  (This is a topic we don't get into much here).

On the Emerald Princess last year, I saw/heard them tell a man he was not allowed to cash out anymore unless he played more.  Sort of like his account was frozen,

Yup, Princess are not stupid ! Play a lot, win some, lose some, and you can redeem you obc.

Play once on a slot machine and then try and redeem all your obc - hmmm - good luck.

Princess doesn't like it when people try to use the casino like an ATM. As @Steelers36 said above (post #4841) many aren't happy about it when people post about using the casino in this manner. It can only lead to weirdness on the part of Princess.

Here is what I see…

Sorry to bring this up again, I know it's been discussed but - I'm seeing this same info under Packages.  We booked our June cruise with the ‘Includes the Princess Plus Promotion’ (in the UK). Paid in full on 10 February this year.  It's still showing the beverage limit up to $12 each in our Personalizer, plus wifi, plus crew appreciation, all included.  Has it been decided that in fact we should be getting the updated package?  I'm seeing on princess.com that Plus includes beverages up to $22 each, wifi, and the three new items.

Confused.

Where does it say $22 each?  Even Premier has $20 limit?

If you are talking AUD, then you should have included the currency.

What a mess this app is.  You'd think they had time to fix it during Covid.  Total, complete failure.

They were working on it during Covid and released it during Covid.  I am writing of the "new" Princess App (formerly Medallion App).  Having just passed the 1.75 year mark since first release, I agree that the vast majority of issues ought to be fixed by now.  It seems to me the worst issue remaining is data integrity and it is difficult to understand the root cause of that as an outsider.

Someone on the Sky posted that they were charged for drinks over $12.  They even showed them the printout that stated up to $15 but they were snippy with the poster.  This is driving me crazy already and I’m not even on the ship yet.  Five of us paid when it was $50 and I hope it doesn’t turn into a hassle.
