We have sailed with Joska a couple of times, too.  On one cruise she received her gold medal.  You've never seen a prouder dog!

She’s a beautiful dog and a very well trained service dog indeed ♥️

Thank you for posting all his updates!  I feel a little sad that the cruise has ended.  When we disembarked on Oct. 18 it seemed like Rich had a long, long time before the end of his cruise, and here it is.  I know they have several more cruises booked and one coming up very soon, but he said he would most likely not be posting about them.

I especially enjoyed seeing the photo of the BB King trumpet player playing taps.  We enjoyed watching him (and the rest of the band!) most nights.

Thank you for posting the details (and photos) of your voyage.  Your post about "Spanish" hot chocolate caught our attention.  A few years ago, while on a Prinsendam cruise, we had a port day in Huelva, Spain.  It was a quiet Sunday morning and DW and I took a bus downtown and just wandered around the mostly closed (Sunday morning) city.  We noticed a small crowd of locals sitting outdoors at a tiny coffee shop and they were all eating churros and drinking hot chocolate.  We noticed that most were dunking those churros in that very thick hot chocolate and it got our attention. So we bought a bag of those made-to-order churros and some of that thick Spanish hot chocolate. It was truly the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my more than 70 years.  Reading your post (and seeing the picture) brought back a very fond memory (not to mention lots of calories).

My advice to any HAL cruiser (or anyone else) is that if you ever get the opportunity to have churros with that thick hot chocolate....do it!    It is something very special.

Here is Rich’s final post from his cruise - disembarkation day.

I know I join with many who are grateful he has shared his experience with us.  I posted a thank you and appreciation on his FB page from myself & CC members who have enjoyed his reports very much.
