Passenger Posting from Eurodam

Yay, I got 19 on the travel geography trivia. Looks like the dining has been better on the Eurodam than on its sister ship in Alaska. I did enjoy the dining experience on my last Eurodam Med cruise, glad to see that hasn't changed as much!

Brings back memories! All wonderful, with one exception: the last time I walked down the path in Santorini, the guide for the donkeys didn’t stop a couple of them from running into me as I was walking, causing bruises. 😏 While I will never walk down that path again, I would LOVE to go back to beautiful Santorini. Soon, I hope!

Thanks so much, @kazu for posting! So happy Eurodam has had such a successful re-start.

Rich’s post for the Trieste turnover day:

Docked in Trieste, view from the bow. In the distance (under the elevated roadway) is our port gate which the protesters blocked.

Docked in Trieste and direct on our port side is the Container Terminal. To reach the Eurodam some port shuttle buses went through the Container Terminal, once it shut down for the day, to avoid the protesters at our port gate.

Do you know why the crew was bringing back bottled water ?

You would need to ask Rich on his FB page.

I am just sharing his posts with his permission.

Enjoying the blog and hope all are having a great cruise.  But am a little puzzled about all the "supermarket" stuff :).  I can say that having cruised far more then 1000 days (in hundreds of ports) that going to a supermarket is seldom a priority (although we have done it a few times).  Sorry to hear about the bad weather as that certainly can cause difficulties for some passengers and crew.  Hope the rest of the trip goes well with some decent weather :).

Rich is onboard for 91 days, he went to the supermarket one day to pick up some favorite noodles for the cabin stewards who are unable to get out themselves.  A nice thing to do.

I didn’t find it puzzling at all since he was trying to do something nice for his cabin stewards.  I thought it was a lovely gesture and have made note for the future 😉. There are times we have time to do these things and why not???

I thought it was really nice, too 👍. Kudos to him for doing it 🙂

I agree, it’s a wonderful & easy thing to do for the crew.   One year we cruised with our son and he got to know staff (same age group). One really wanted a Harley Davidson t-shirt and saw our son wore them.  We specifically found a Harley store & bought one for him.  He was thrilled.
