Have a wonderful cruise! We should be on this cruise but as we’re from the UK we had to cancel due to us not being allowed into the states yet ☹️ We’ll be there in spirit with you, have a drink for us please 😊

Hey Teampayne2, always happy to take one for the team, I'll down a Painkiller tonight!

Dang it! No irons available! Thanks for the update. Will have to adjust our wardrobe options.

@Dreamer1961 There are several "Ironing rooms" available.  I don't remember the exact locations but there were at least 4 aboard.  I peeked in one and it looked like you'd expect, just a plain utility room to use an iron. No self serve washers or dryers though.

And that's the same on any Carnival ship.  Downy Wrinkle Release is your friend.

I wasn't sure if or when I would start this with the testing requirement slightly putting a damper on my normal excitement for this cruising because of the stress of not knowing. Well Boys and Girls, I got tested today and Drumroll please, NEGATIVE.......

Time to get amped up finally going on a cruise after 18+ Months and Now I can't wait to get aboard. My live probably will be a bit Rumbly and I will be doing picture overload.

I suppose I should say a bit about myself, Most of my Cruising experiences have been Carnival and continue to be Carnival but I have sailed Royal Twice and have two NCL Cruises booked and a MSC Cruise booked in October (Because $500 for a balcony seven day cruise is just absurd to pass up.) I tend to sail solo, Or with my girlfriend whenever she can get off which has only been a few times. I live north of Tampa Florida I am a Paramedic and I am a very avid Lightning, Bucs. Rays and Gators Fan having season tickets to the Gators. I am 31 but I still love carnival although I may age and move onto other lines it hasn't happened yet.

Two Days, Fourteen hours and ten minutes to go though and I am pumped.

Go Gators! Also a Season Ticket Holder - can't wait until Sept. 4!

Most ships have a guest laundry with washers, dryers, and ironing boards with irons. On Mardi Gras you only have the ironing rooms, not a full self-serve laundry.  I think the person asking the question makes use of the ironing boards and irons in the self-serve laundry on other ships, and it's notable that MG doesn't have exactly that.  I don't think people fully realize they still have the option to iron their own clothes if they want, without trying to smuggle an iron onboard (fire hazard, prohibited).

Thank you so much for that response! It’s a relief and exactly what I was hoping for. My husband loves to press his shirts and my outfits to wear for dinner each night.

We prefer freshly ironed. When it was noted that laundry rooms were unavailable, I wanted to verify if that included ironing stations. I’m happy to hear they are still onboard.

Apologies for my late start but since my excursion doesn’t leave until 1pm I decided to sleep in today actually I had set my alarm for 930 since we weren’t supposed to dock until after 10am but I looked and we had already docked so I went back to sleep lol. Anywho this is only the second time I have eaten in the buffet this cruise lol.

So I walked out onto deck and almost landed on my back….. with like three crew members behind me I wasn’t expecting the deck to be quite so soaked.

Following and REALLY loving this live review!

Don't think we will be cruising on MG anytime soon as we have gotten to the point in our lives where we do not enjoy all the crowding.  When we sailed Vista and Horizon we just felt those ships were TOO crowded and that was before Covid mess.

Still love reading reviews and watching You Tube videos of ships!
