I went to a show last night and a couple of items.

Was told that there are some 300 kids on board.

Since it was the 2nd Formal night, my long sleeve shirt was hiding the green band.  One of the staffer checking me in for room # etc., asked to see the band.  I made a remark, that since this cruise is 100% vaxxed adult why the emphasis on the bands.  As mentioned previously, I was stopped previously, 3 separate times entering the casino.  This staffer mentioned that no this cruise is not exactly 100% vaxxed as there are 2 adults Paxs on board that are non-vaxxed, therefore checking for the bands.

Not a big deal, but,

Hey neighbor! I’m from Monmouth too. The ocean is pretty rough today with big swells and riptide risks thanks to Larry. Hopefully you don’t feel it too much getting in! The empty clanging hangers that last night is no fun.

No, not bothering me.  One time I was on Anthem coming back from Nassau and we went thru 20-25 ft

waves.  It was amazing form of nature as sometimes the waves crashed against the ship and part of the wave/sprays went as high as the Solarium deck.  It was worse when we in the theatre and as the waves crashed it sounded like a bomb went off.😄

We attended the show late evening (Cats). We were shocked how many people walked out during the performance. We were in the lower level (deck 4) …we were aware that this was supposed to be the fully vaxxed section, but it was disappointing to see no effort made to social distance and many not wearing masks.

Why bother having a vaxxed section if everyone is going to mask and distance anyway?

As far a people walking out of the show, it has been happening since CATS was added to the ship. I would have been surprised if you said that most people stayed.

Same experience.  Would love to see replacement.  Saw hairspray and mamma Mia and enjoyed them immensely.

A vaxxed adult sailing with children is allowed entry to vaxxed only places on the ship if the child is off doing something else or in daycare area.

Thanks for the answer.  I had read if an unvaxxed child is with your family, the entire family is considered unvaxxed.

I don't have the paper menu in front of me (all restaurants have one if you request it, but you are pushed towards the app first for cleanliness).  So here are screenshot from the app for Globe and Atlas

We had a lucky lady in the casino last night as she won 20k at the slots. I had no such luck and made my usual contribution 🤪

Oh wow! Do you know which machine she was playing? I’m on the 9/19 sailing and had posted on the casino thread on CC asking if the slots were paying out. Glad to see that at least one did!

I'd like to thank everyone currently on board the Oasis for the first revenue cruise that provided information from start to close, as well as those that made my post topic interesting. I'll be heading to Bayonne about 6:00am from Massachusetts with my group of five. There would have been more but when they got bumped from choosing their cabin on deck six and put on deck twelve by the revenue Dept. they cancelled. We'll be stopping to get a fill up for the return home on the 19th at Costco by the Port and pick up water before parking in the garage. Safe travels everyone !!! Don

so as a 1st timer to royal and sky class i'm still researching the perks. wondering if there are any you dont have now due to the virus. is priority em/disembark going on?  free booze in the suite lounge even if you dont have a package i think?

also regarding formal nites since buffet is closed can i assume shorts are ok in the MDR?  im assuming ok in specialties as well? the royal faq is lacking in detail. just describes the 3 kinds of dress

is room service available?

Could someone let me know when D+ are allowed to disembark the ship?

No special time set aside for D+.   Mine is based on tag #, which coincides with the time I selected when I got the request from RCL.  Also, have the choice of self assist.
