Exactly how much time does anyone spend awake in their room? I spend a good amount of time relaxing on my balcony. I am also severely claustrophobic so small inside cabins are a big (small?) no for me.
Ocean Boy Posted September 16, 2021 #27 Share Posted September 16, 2021 I think RCI should specifically state that these cabins don't have a balcony overlooking the ocean. I thought inside meant that you could get to your cabin from inside the ship.😐 1

I’ll start - No balconies I can understand no balcony, but, seriously, no windows? C'mon RCL. Gimme a break. 1
barbeyg Posted September 17, 2021 #29 Share Posted September 17, 2021 What sucks about inside cabins is that little strip of light at the bottom of the cabin door. It totally destroys the alluring tomblike darkness. 😁 Is tomblike a real word? 🤔 2

There is no shame. Your post reminds me of the scene in "Fried Green Tomatoes" where Kathy Bates rams the younger women's car, saying "Let's face it: I have more insurance". You should put a sign on your door that says, "Let's face it: I can buy more cruises". 😀

Rare Oceansaway17 Posted September 17, 2021 #36 Share Posted September 17, 2021 let me go in a different direction and say I am sure many folks who are overworked, recovering from covid, dealing with stress of kids and schools and lastly anyone too ill to travel, They would to have an inside room and be on a ship. So to me an inside room should NEVER suck at all. Many of you who go in large suites I am sure enjoy them, but an inside room is still on the ship going to the same ports with the same weather. And many many folks at this time with all that is going on would really love to be in one of those rooms. it is like cars, may not be the best or biggest, but still gets to where you need to go. Be greatful

PigsCanFly Posted September 17, 2021 #47 Share Posted September 17, 2021 We keep getting free Balcony and Junior Suite rooms for 2 from the casino folks. Since we normally travel as 3, there is an upcharge for the 3 per room + the 3rd person. Still a good deal. We decided to use our free jr suite for 2 on the Odyssey and our son will be staying in a inside nearby using his tier free inside. He will have more space than he does in his room at home. Until he spreads out😨.

Rare twangster Posted September 17, 2021 #50 Share Posted September 17, 2021 I love getting an inside cabin in the forward area of Oasis class ships so I get to the ports before all the suite snobs up on deck 17... unless we back in. 1
