pcur Posted November 19, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2021 (edited) I logged into the Cruise Planner on one of my booked cruises, and it had a $100 obc. I checked the rest of my cruises, and 3@ $25 showed up, too? I check my TA's invoices: nope, no obc's. Is it part of the refunds they owe me? Are they having some kind of "if you are sailing between 1/1/22 and 6/1/22 you get obc" promo? Any ideas? Edited November 19, 2021 by pcur

cruisegirl1 Posted November 19, 2021 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2021 I received a $100 for an upcoming cruise. Can't figure it out. Have other cruises booked but no extra OBC. We sail in a few weeks, we'll see if it shows up in my account. M
MightyMike Posted November 19, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2021 Lock it in by buying something on Cruise Planner before they take it away!
pcur Posted November 19, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted November 19, 2021 The $25 ones are "pre-cruise" only, so I guess I'll have several specialty dinners partially on them!
ColeyCola Posted November 19, 2021 #6 Share Posted November 19, 2021 Price of the cruise has possibly dropped.
cruiserhal Posted November 19, 2021 #7 Share Posted November 19, 2021 The Terms and Conditions on the $100 one says if your don't use it in the Cruise Planner it will be on your ship account but must be used by the end of the trip. Nice gift for Royal.

alchemist4 Posted November 19, 2021 #13 Share Posted November 19, 2021 Where would one see this in the Cruise Planner? I’m guessing I have none since I can’t locate it haha

pcur Posted November 19, 2021 Author #17 Share Posted November 19, 2021 So, I guess the general consensus is the OBC Fairy is sprinkling obc glitter dust across the bookings..........................

jordan9900 Posted November 19, 2021 #19 Share Posted November 19, 2021 (edited) Maybe the OBC is because they feel bad that you are still required to get a pre-cruise Covid test. 🙂 Edited November 19, 2021 by jordan9900
zekekelso Posted November 19, 2021 #20 Share Posted November 19, 2021 Pretty sure those are mine and RCI just goofed. But it’s too much trouble to try and fix, so just keep and enjoy. If you get a tasty beverage with the OBC, give a toast to me. And maybe pick me up one of those RCI beach towels. PS - Can OBC be used to buy beach towels and stuff? However, I vote for the casino.
ZoeyVictoria Posted November 19, 2021 #24 Share Posted November 19, 2021 I have six cruises booked, and received $25 for just one of them. Not turning it down, but not overwhelmed with joy.
nws2002 Posted November 19, 2021 #25 Share Posted November 19, 2021 I had a random extra $50 in my account when I boarded. No idea why. TA didn’t know. I didn’t bother GS with it.
