That's a known issue - you can send them as well.

I have not signed up for Voom.  The ship let's you use their app, but blocks other access.. well perhaps the most obvious.  What is amusing me is that I continue to get push notifications from various sites.  While I'm on the ship WiFi.  Of course their own app yes them foi anything you put in the apps My Calendar.

that is horrible to hear they allowed a tank top into the MDR for dinner.      Breakfast okay - but Not dinner.    Shorts okay for breakfast but not dinner either.     dockers or even cargo pants would be fine, IMO 🤩

On the ship as well now. Nice shorts at dinner are perfectly fine for dinner. Many people wearing them.

Yes, in addition to iMessage texts going through, some apps do receive some data, for example in Outlook, you can get the header info and perhaps the first line of the email - quite handy.

Well weather alerts from home, offers from Chipotle, McDonald's, and Redbox are marginally useful.  😀

I could not find a way to trigger a ring tone from notifications but it may be possible.  Google it .  I get special rings from Mc D's.

Well as we depart I'll be going silent.  Have a good trip.

What a bummer not stopping in Port Canaveral to see your family for a pre-Thanksgiving lunch.

We will see them after the holidays, in January. Very hard to take time off on either side in December, even with some of us working virtually. Next year we will use our own SUV instead of Royal Caribbean's. LOL!😁

Hello everyone and good evening. We arrived this afternoon at around 3:30 and secured to pier by around 4pm. Passengers were released to go ashore at around 4:15.

I left the ship today around 4:30.

I've been to this port four times in the last 2 months and I was happy again to stroll over to Grills Seafood and Tiki Bar. It is always very relaxing there. The service is always good, and the staff is very friendly.

We stopped in across the street to Sunrise Fish Dive Surf shop. They sell a lot of tackle and bait, but also have a large selection of juice drinks, soft drinks, wine, beer, snacks, and sandwiches.

We didn't stay off the ship for long we were all back at around 6:00 p.m.

There were about 200 passengers waiting for taxis. I am guessing the reason why it's because Royal  Caribbean canceled all excursions. The popular Ron Jon Cocoa Beach shuttle was an excursion that got cancelled.

All passengers were back by 7:30 and we just pulled away at 8pm.

We are scheduled to arrive in Nassau tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.

Here are a few pics from today.

I hate that they dumbed down to shorts in the MDR fir dinner. How hard is it to put on a pair of Dockers. I read where a guy was allowed in for dinner wearing a tank top 😳

how hard is it for some people to accept the fact that some people go for comfort. Or realize it is 2021 now, not 1971

Agree!!  Laugh when some folks say the way another is dressed in the dining room ruins their dinner, I think they are bored and have nothing to talk about with their dining companion, so they have to judge others.  Good grief

I love Jamie's Italian! I had the same dishes as you. Then I wanted to try every dessert on the menu and our servers Fouad and Hormuz brought me a sampler. Tiny portions of every dessert on the menu. Delish. I would have had a serious wardrobe malfunction if I had any more food there. The seams were giving way.

Hi Arzeena- Was Fouad working at Jamie’s during our Thanksgiving 2021 sailing?

Radio - What's your opinion about dress code for dinner in the MDRs and specialty restaurants?  I have been on many cruises and if I felt like wearing shorts, or a bathing suit, flip flops and a tank top to dinner I just went to one of the buffets.  I am not on Facebook but my friend who is tells me that many will be wearing tuxes and gowns on formal nights during our Xmas cruise.

Good morning everyone, and Welcome to DAY 4 of "LIVE" from Anthem of the Seas.

We are in transit to Nassau, Bahamas this morning. We just passed Freeport, and we should be arriving in about 5 hours. (12:30pm)

The port schedules are very conflicting. I checked with 3 port schedule sites, and it shows that we should be with Carnival Legend, Independence of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas, and Freedom of the Seas.
I'm not so sure that these schedules are correct. There have been many changes over the last several weeks where that cruise schedule does not reflect what ships will actually be in Port.

There are many activities scheduled today, and lots of FlowRider, NorthStar, and Bumper Cars. Hmm. . . maybe I will offer my services as a surfing instructor.

One of the Lifeguards was asking me about my GoPro Hero10 and we were chatting. He told me that lifeguards all work on a 30 minute pool shift. They guard for 30 minutes then they sit for 30 minutes, then they may go to a different pool for 30 minutes. They work an 8-hour shift.

Here are a few pics from early this morning.

Definitely an underappreciated job.  No way could I stand there, even for 30 minutes.  They seem to be professional about their work, or at least when they change people.  I've watched as the incoming guard thoroughly searches the pool underwater to see if there's anyone there.  He/she then replaces the existing guard, who also performs a thorough pool search before leaving.  I don't know about their skills in saving someone in distress (never have seen it happen) but their shift change at least makes me feel like they are well trained.

My family will be on Anthem for Christmas. You will find us wearing something like this:
