Hi Radio

Really enjoying your reviews.

We’re on a b2b on Oasis which stops at cococay week 1 and week 2. I’ve booked a south beach cabana for the second week and was going to book a day bed at either chill island or south beach for the first visit. I’ve researched but can’t see clearly the locations (photos) of both so I can choose. Any advice or detail would be appreciated if you have it please

Hi Scott ,

I personally like the chill beach area. If you like to swim it is the best beach for that. I also feel it is centrally located. Food, bars, shops, pool.

Also the best snorkling spot.

Thanks Sue. Would love to know how many rows of day beds are at both locations as I don’t fancy being stuck away at the back.

That i couldn't answer. I know with the cabanas it was first come first served. So if you booked early you were in the first row

Watched Frankie and the Dreamers last evening. Had really high hopes for this show, since I loved The Jersey Boys and that music. Those hopes were quickly dashed. The show was basically a freaking train wreck:

- 10 minutes of Jersey Boys songs
- 20 minutes of Rap, Hip Hop, Vanilla Ice, Slim Shady, and Madonna
- 15 minutes of I’m not sure what the heck
- Ended with Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s RELAX

The bass was way too heavy and almost unbearable from where I was seated.

Standing ovation. 😖

Ran into a gentleman while waiting for the elevators, he said he’d seen the show several times on Anthem of the Seas, and that Ryan Molloy (lead) keeps adding more and different “stuff” that isn’t Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons music. He hated the show as much as I did. My soulmate. LOL 😉

Tonight was The Beatles - A Musical Celebration and I thought these boys did a really bang up job. All very enjoyable, costume changes and all. Several wonderful solos, lots of really GREAT Beatles music and nothing else.

Fantastic show! 🥰

😎

I agree with your assessment of both groups.  I was on Anthem in November.  Katherine

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 6 of "LIVE" from Anthem of the Seas.

Today is the first if our final two days at sea. Trivia, Activities, Bumper Cars, FlowRider, Women of Wine tasting, and much more. Woman of Wine Tasting?? Hmm. . .That event is a 3PM. I may be watching news.

The forecast for today is promising.Clear sunny skies, 70°f with light winds. The first few days in Casino Royale have not been very "Radio Friendly", but I may attempt to visit one more time.

It was interesting to watch the lifeguards performing CPR training and rescue training at the indoor pool area last night. They take this job very seriously. These are ongoing exercise training classes that happen weekly.

Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. Thanks for tuning in.

Sorry to be pedantic (I am a network engineer) "texting" does not use WiFi, it's a phone service.  I haven't sailed on RCL before, but some cruise ships offer satellite phone service too.  If so it's billed to your phone bill as international roaming.  Another reason to put your phone in airplane mode and be careful about what you turn on.

Actually recently sailed the Oasis of The Seas in October and could wi-fi text no problem! The key, only Apple to Apple machines. Imessage uses wi-fi, does sms ( or whatever it is ) phone service when wireless not available or texting non-apple device. Had no trouble texting grand daughters who are on Apple, they had to relay to their mother who is not Apple.
