Coin pusher on Celebrity Apex?

Can anyone confirm whether there is a coin pusher / quarter pusher game in the casino on Celebrity Apex? I've tried to watch casino walkthrough videos on Youtube but I didn't see one.

I know it sounds silly but I look forward to spending hours and hours on that game while at sea and if there isn't one then I would reconsider booking Apex.

I get it, they're a lot more fun than they should be. It feels like it soothes my (fake) OCD when the "prize" drops. Do other Celebrity ships have them?

Unless I completely missed it, there isn't one on Edge so I can't imagine Apex has one either. The only "arcade"/luck based game is the one where you control a key and try to line it up with the keyholes to win prize money. Even that was tucked away by a door next to the ATM (maybe a hint that both will happily take your money in exchange for giving you some back...)

I never realized people actually played these games.

Unfortunately I've watch my DW pour some $$ into these at times. But hey, we have our gambling budget for the cruise and unless I'm winning big at Craps/Blackjack, we don't exceed it. Any money we take into a casino is funds we are willing to expend for the entertainment purposes. If your gambling because you have to win the money, then you need to leave immediately.

I was on a ship with 9 foot swells watching that thing. Not a single coin dropped.

I've seen some pretty heavy movement on the ship and too have never seen any coins drop. I've seen the piles jiggle a lit, but never see any 'free' payouts.

The two kids and I were standing by one of those machines aboard Eclipse while waiting for my wife.  There was a $10 bill that had fallen off the tray (I presume that because we didn't actually see it happen) but it didn't make it all the way down the chute where you could get it.  The kids and I were looking at it intently trying to figure out if we could reach in there to retrieve it.  All of a sudden a casino employee came over to the coin pusher.  He proceeded to open the machine up and he handed us the $10 bill!  Of course the $10 doesn't even begin to make up for the money that my wife has poured in there in the past (I still remember Horizon 2005.....).

it is magnetic, but can't imagine not booking a cruise because the don't have it.  To each their own

Imagine the payouts in high seas!

Your post brought memories of an Antarctic cruise some years ago.  I am one of those who is always up and wandering about with a cuppa by 6am.  The quarter pusher machines used to drop quarters in rough seas all night.  Thus a walk with a large cup through the casino very very early usually filled one and sometimes 2 coin cups.  The total was amazing.  We completely filled a drawer by our bed with quarters.

Sadly there is now a flap that extends after 30 seconds if no coin is inserted .  Quarters drop into the machine. No more morning quarters.  😪
