Can Carnival gift cards be bought on ships?

   I have a lot of onboard credits, possibly too many to consume during a forthcoming seven-day cruise. 

 

  Not wanting to end up crazy drunk, I wonder whether I could use some of the credits to buy Carnival gift cards for future use. Is this possible. If so, where are they available on the Legend?

Cherry on top sells them. Dont know if your ship has this candy store.

This seems to depend.  If you ask crew, they will tell you no but if you just apply to your S&S, it goes thru

I bought one with my excess OBC on the Breeze earlier this month.   I believe they said it had to be a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $1000.

There was a lot of speculation if they would allow this with all the OBC given this year. Seen several posts here from guests that did indeed use OBC to purchase Carnival gift cards onboard. Only saw one post at the restart that said their credit card was charged instead of OBC.not much mention since, now this week several have posted success.
