Arrival Times Group B

Hello fellow cruisers,

Unfortunately, I have had the unpleasant experience of a glitchy Medallion App leading up to my next cruise and I was unable to choose an arrival time. Well, it looks like they made some progress on the app and have assigned me Group B...but they don't actually say what time that is! 🤣🤦‍♀️

 

Can someone please let me know when Group B boards? 😁

 

And for those who are in a panic about the Medallion App, I went on one cruise and had no trouble with it at all and on this one, it's stuck on the Medallion screen and won't proceed. 

 

Just go with the flow...it will all get sorted out when you get to the pier.

So far, the Live Froms and other posters who've been on a cruise have noted that the port people are not paying any attention to boarding groups/times. Seems to be the way it used to be...show up when you want.

Answering the question asked:  Group B for our upcoming cruise is 12:00 noon to 12:30.  

As written, these arrival groups seem to mean about as much as "progressive boarding" did in the past.

I think we got it about 28 days ahead, I was checking "every day" but not religiously.

I read on CC that it was suppose to be 30 to 45 days prior to sailing.

I wasn't able to select until 30 days out (and I was checking daily!).

Our sail date is in 45 days.  Here’s what is currently showing for Enchanted arrival times.  I’m not able to actually choose a time yet though.

I'm still not able to check in and I leave on Saturday! Lol. Total glitch with the app. BUT...somehow they assigned me Group B, even though I can't advance from the medallion wearable step. 🤷‍♀️ I like the advice above...I'll get there when I get there. 😁

I just was able to get my boarding assignment for my January 29th sailing...44 days out! We got 11:30am, Group A.

I was able to select a boarding time at 37 days out

I was in Group B for last week's cruise on the Caribbean Princess. No one asked when I got to the port a little after 10:30. I managed to be the first new passenger to board the ship because the couples in the Elite embarkation lounge before me told me to go ahead of them.

Just this morning they let me select my boarding time 69 days out. I was sort of shocked after reading all the posts of between 30 and 45 days out.

Possibly they've fixed something that appears to let the app work as it should?

I was able to select my boarding time 61 days out for my Feb 28th cruise on the Enchanted Princess!

FYI - we boarded the Regal on 12/29.  No one asked about boarding groups.  Have your passport, vaccination card and negative Covid test results and you are good to go!

In the app, you can click on Travel Checklist —> Arrival & Departure Groups and it will show you your boarding time.

We got our boarding group on the app 75 days prior for the April 4 Grand to Hawaii.
