RIP Rod Marsh and Shane Warne.

Well cricket lovers what a tragic couple of days for us. Rod Marsh former Wicket Keeper/Batsman then early this morning the King of Spin, Shane Warne passing away, both from heart attacks.  I saw Warney make his test debut at the SCG in 1992.  

 

Gone to the big Cricket Pavilion in the sky. Rest in Peace.

Rod wasn’t unexpected, but could have knocked me over with a feather about 1 this morning when I heard about Warnie.

Not a good few days for Aussie cricket. Two of the all-time greats of the game, and far too young for the umpire to call stumps.

Very sad to hear the passing of two of the greats of the game. The Vic govt has offered the Warne family a state funeral for Shane and the Great Southern Stand at the MCG will be renamed the S K Warne Stand.

Very intrusive the cameras in there at Warnies villa bedroom and movement of his body to hospital etc. It is well known that journos pay the authorities in Asia bribes to get footage at such scenes and also to get into prisons etc to interview caucasian crims, including jailed Aussies.  Won't be long before they bribe someone to get the autopsy report.

They probably have already bribed someone to get the autopsy report.

Now the media is getting excited because allegedly 4 Thai 'Massage girls'  Attended the Villa with allegedly 2 in Warney's room and the other two with his friends. No doubt the paparazzi paid for the CCTV footage and sold it on, as they do.

Thai police have said he died of ' Natural  Causes'.

In my experience, people mostly die this way, even if there are extenuating circumstances.

They even showed footage of police going trough Warney's suitcase, finding all sorts of things.  The media have no scruples, they just pay out the Baht.
