Current capacity on ships?

I just calculated the 40% (approx) from what I read on our roll call and the ships listed capacity

Currently on Rotterdam and it has been reported 2,300 guest on board and next cruise will be approximately 2,000.

It can be easily done by dividing 2 numbers.  It gives a better idea than a number.

I checked the roll call. It's 1170 people. I prefer the actual number, particularly given that some percentage of cabins is set aside for quarantine.

2,666 to 3,214. The upper capacity is dependent on the number of 3rd, 4th, and 5th (family ocean views) passengers booked into the various cabins.

Just got off Nieuw Amsterdam on Saturday we had 960 aboard 

which was virtually a ghost town 

no lines plenty of deck chairs 😀

I am hoping ours will be the same!  My brother was on the NS with about 900 passengers and he said it was the best cruise ever - fantastic service and no lines!
