Where is this photo taken?  On the way to Sitka?  We're on Serenade in a few weeks and Sitka is the first stop. I want to know when/where to look out for this amazing site.

Sitka!

Did you just book from the pier?

No….booked it through Royal several weeks ago. Matter of fact, didn’t see any independent tours at the pier.  Didn’t look for any either, though!

@graphicguyIf you have time tomorrow, hit the Red Dog Saloon for  a Duck Fart 😉

Will do! 😉

BTW….I kinda lied about no entertainment in 270°.  They do.  Just not the big productions I had seen they offered.

I loved the photos. Unfortunately we are not going to Sitka.

Do you happen to know if Jamie’s Italian was open for lunch on embarkation day? We have the unlimited dining package for this cruise and Jamie’s is our muster station. It would make sense to have lunch there.

Me and my fiancé did the Ovation out of Seattle the summer before covid and we loved it.  We also arrived one day early to explore Seattle, and enjoyed that too. Not too sure about Seattle now with everything that has happened there. We have done a few Carnival cruises and about 12 Disney cruises and possibly 25 with Royal(our favorite). We are planning our next Casino tier credit cruise and just not sure where we want to go. Don't care to cross the pond with everything that's going on!

On the 5/20 Sailing and, as a HUGE Led Zeppelin fan for 40+ years, SO hope they are still on.  A quick Google Search shows they have a tour date in CA on 5/14 and another on 6/4; so the time window for our sailing is open.

Thanks for this awesome live blog as its incredibly timely as I "study up".  If you catch theme nights in The Compass, would you please post them up so we can pack accordingly?
