I notice that there is no brandy on this list which there wasnt on my cruise in QG in 2019 and when verbally asked for it was told no so it proves that when it suits they vary the choice given and there is not set choice given at all times. Or is this list the "new" list that is going to be normal for future cruises and another change or cutback whichever way you want to look at it to save money.

We requested Hendricks Gin yesterday which is not on the list - Butler happily delivered it rather than the ones on the list, along with Fever Tree tonic. Happy days.

Caviar still freely available in QG.

Laurent Perrier is the current in suite champagne.

Forgot to add despite the notification pre cruise saying masks were no longer mandatory on the ship (except theatre), that has already changed. Masks are needed indoors when moving around due to the outbreak on the previous cruise 😷

@Stu UK I LOVE Caviar and plan to order it many times on our voyage. I am wondering about their sourcing given the current political situation with Russia.

It's been a while since we've been in Q's grill. We now prefer Princess, however when we had caviar in the cabin (when in a Q's grill suite), it was in a dollap...not any sort of container. It was nice, but I could almost guarantee it wasn't Russian. It was ok...nothing to write home about.

In the restaurant, I don't ever recall seeing any kind of a container, however that could've changed...probably not for the better. I'm sure if you're having it at dinner, if you asked, the M'd will tell you....

Certain in a silver dish with roll top last night and the appropriate pearl spoon.

Any idea of the point of origin on the caviar? Did you ask? High marks on the pearl spoon tho...giggle!

Excellent. Thanks for your updates and as a pleb and non connoisseur, I really like the caviar served at dinner  on QV so thanks for the update and good news on mask protocol. Looking forward to Cunard this year. It's been a long time coming as Sept'19 was our last trip and Cunard have seemed hell bent on cancelling our holidays and allowing the next follow on cruises  to take place.  We were beginning to get a complex about it all!  🙂

as per previous posts by me on my experience in QG and there being no option of Brandy there was no Glenfiddich as a whisky choice because if there was I would have asked for that as a second choice. As it was I chose Bell's and Famous Grouse was delivered by my butler.
