CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE SEES ITS HIGHEST BOOKING WEEK EVER AS IT FINDS ANOTHER WAY TO CELEBRATE ITS 50th BIRTHDAY!

I will admit that the prices for the 50th promo and those who got it saved a lot of money. I know I did. In today's economy when I can sail a family of four on a brand new ship ( Jubilee ) in the summer in an extended balcony for a week for $1700 it's a good thing and rare anymore. It appears many took advantage of this 48 sale . A real good sale for once with low deposits. Normally Carnival is my last choice but I'll admit their pricing and MSC are far far better than the others not bames. Thousands in differences ....

Makes sense. I hadn't planned on booking a cruise anytime soon but then Carnival emailed me all sorts of offers that were too good to pass up. I booked 4 cruises in the last several weeks.😀

Was able to snag a Junior Suite for my birthday in September 2022 for the same price we paid for our first cruise in an inside in 2009 on the Holiday out of Mobile (for my birthday in September 🙂)! VERY good deals!!

My offers are predominately for Australia.  Havent seen one of these "you only turn 50 once" deals.  That being said im pretty well booked up for the next 2 years of cruising on Carnival lol.

I can see why. I’ve never had the offers I have right now. Many of them $100 pp for an interior cabin. I’m running out of weeks to be able to cruise at the $100 level. It’s weird because it’s a casino offer but the casino cash isn’t that high compared to others. But not complaining.

Doubt that continues so loading up now.

I'm hoping for another as I didnt get deals, though it said I had the offer. ..and couldnt call and try booking direct. Well I got 2 jubilee dates in nov and one of those disappeared. .. .. next time. They would have had one more, probably jubilee.

I wanted to get the lower price for a cruise 5 22 I booked the senior rate and have been told can not get the rate which is 500.00 different can anyone help booked thru ta

The half price sale was meant for new bookings only. I know a guy took the penalty and cancelled to save 750. He couldnt get the price drop without cancelling and rebooking.

The purpose of the sale was to get new bookings, not price reductions so agree it should be limited to new bookings. I'm sure some got price reductions and fees waived, but not all.

I actually was in the process of booking with a PVP - had an extended balcony cabin on the Spirit held and was to call back the next day to give them CC#'s to complete the booking.  When I called to do that she said wait, there is a new promotion out, let me see what that rate does to your booking.  I was able to move from the balcony cabin I had reserved to a wrap around Vista Suite balcony for LESS money.  I paid less than $1600 for 2 for a 6 day cruise and the same thing right now is almost $3,000 so great savings for me on that deal.

Who is surprised if the prices are cut in half everyone rushed to book. We know why sales soared and then carnival used it as a promotion ..hey we just had our best ever week lol. Stock went up on the news.

Had I not been cruising last week I'd have booked! But it's funny now carnival is acting like hey look at this. ..

Same! Apparently I should have taken some time to check Carnival's website daily on my B2B 🤣

After many carnival cruises I said I will not go back after my cruise in September. I have since been loyal to royal but when you get a rate of $1500 for 2 in a balcony for 8 nights I had to book. I truly hate how carnival packs people in with very little space.

For folks that made a spur-of-the-moment purchase of a cruise:  Please make sure that you have the correct travel documents in hand for your cruise.  For US citizens, either a passport or a gov't issued birth certificate (not a hospital birth certificate, often times with foot prints).

I know that you are excited about your cruise, but please start getting these documents together now.  There is nothing worst than being denied boarding because you didn't have the needed proof of citizenship.

If it was a normal priced week, I would be amazed, however, I was able to get 2 Havana cabins(1-interior and 1 cabana) on an 8 night So Caribbean cruise for the same price as a 7 day Western caribbean cruise on an older ship with regular rooms.
