What can OBC be used for?

Can OBC be used for taxes and tips on drinks? Bingo? IFly? Anything unusual that I wouldn’t think of? We just got $757 to spend.

Anything on board that would be charged to your seapass account.

The only thing I can think of on board that obc cannot be used for is booking another cruise at Next Cruise.

OBC can be used to pay for your drinks. It can be used to pay for your daily gratuities. Anything charged to your cabin on the ship will use up your OBC first.

OBC from RC, which is in your account before the cruise, can be used before you cruise for cruise planner purchases such as a drink package or Voom Internet. Unfortunately OBC from other sources such as your travel agent won't be available to spend until you are on board.

Go to the casino and get it out in cash. Someone posted instructions on how to do this last year and I took a screenshot:-

After following those instructions, do you go to the ‘cage’ and ask for your OBC amount?  Even OBC given to you by the cruise line?  Thanks 😊

You can skip the cage - you can go to the cash out machine. Yes, though there's a daily limit (I think $300-500 depending on cruise length).

Yes. We cashed out the total amount of our OBC (refundable and non-refundable) and took the ticket to the cashier. Easy peasy 😉

Yes.  You can present the ticket to the cashier just as you would any other casino ticket.

Thank you for your advice, much appreciated! 😊
