Nightly DL event question about vouchers...

Do the D/D+/P drink vouchers get "used" when having beverages at the nightly DL event? Is it always? Sometimes? It depends?

In our experience, the waiters may sometimes make a mistake but are usually fairly consistent.  We have also found that “mistakes “ are made at the bars, too.

This varies by ship and staff, but don't count on any drinks without a voucher being used. CocoCay is probably your best chance of a voucher not being used.

We just did a 20 night b2b on Enchantment and I don't think they missed a single one.  They did charge me for a drink in the MDR that should have been free and we had that removed.  The waiter we used in the DL memorized our cabin number after the first few days.

In 4 sailings on 3 different ships, they gave me diet coke for free.  I didn't complain!  Anything alcoholic, I got charged.

My wife gets my drinks without having to use up vouchers. I always use up vouchers when getting drinks.
