Busy day for us in Curaçao.

Entertainment on the pier

Our excursion was snorkeling with the turtles, then a beach break.  This is the same excursion we did in October, and loved it.  Shot a lot of video, but these are just a couple frame extracts

After we got back to the ship, we ate, cleaned up, and walked to town.

Jeff Tracta was the Headliner show tonight.  What an amazing, wide range of voices.  One of the best headliners we have seen on Royal.  This is a “Do not miss” show.

70’s night in the RP tonight.

Some random thoughts.

very few children/kids/pre adults on this sailing

food has been good MDR:IZUMI/CK

drinks seem to have adequate measured or free pour in some bars.

Amber theatre shows EXCELLENT

air conditioner in CLS  keeping us comfy

cabin attendant doing great job  towel animals every day

again the WIFI BAD.

getting smoked out in casino. BAD. Even though smoking permitted on one side it Carrie’s over.

waiters doing excellent job getting drinks. Only one day poolside was spotty before noon.

Now I have not lived at pool but some towels seem to have permanent residency on loungers and nothing being done.

once again not a great presence of security. Unless there in plain clothes.

I cannot believe how clean the ship is. And on going wiping down of everything and every where.

the elevators have been painful. Cannot understand why it takes forever to have one come to the 16 th of 17 th level.
and when they do. There empty.

ok

layer.

I think you are spot on with all those comments @Lionesss Sue.

The only thing I don’t know about is the elevators, because we haven’t been in one. That will change Sunday when we walk off.

Loungers are hard to come by at 10 am.  I have managed to find some, but have  had to carry them from one end of the ship to where I want them.

Relaxing by the Solarium bar this morning.

That's one of the few drawbacks to staying on deck 17.  With the WJ right below on 16, the elevators get a lot of WJ traffic going up and down.  It can take a while for one to come all the way up to 17.  With so few people on 17, the elevators are usually empty by the time they get there.  If you have a genie, they can do their magic thing with the elevators so you don't wait, or at least so I've been told.  Haven't had that experience yet.

I was on that excursion also. It was great and the young man narrating was very informative. Would do it again just to see the turtles again.

That was the second time we have done this excursion, and plan to do the same one when we are back in January on Harmony.

Some friends are joining us on that cruise, and they will really like it.

Yes no traffic lights.

All those circle round a bouts.

Works for them.

Way to go Mark and Susan

When we were there at the end of March we came across some on our tour to the lighthouse. More roundabouts but a couple of lights.

Your favorite bartender was working there today.  That’s the first I have seen her this cruise.

Is that Ana?

Is it one with Royal or on your own? We have been back to Curaçao 3 times since October but the only tour we did was caves, history tour. We will be back in September and the turtles would be fun.

Might have been Kenisha. She was working the Solarium bar on the January cruise. These two cruises are the only ones that I can remember names of bartenders from. Either they were very good or I am just drinking way too much these days.😵😀

You know the cruise is coming to an end, when you already check in for tomorrow’s flight home.

Sitting at the pub with the first drink of the day.

RP is very crowded with their 2 for $25 T-shirt sale going on.

It wasn’t that long ago it was 2 for $20. Inflation is everywhere!

Good morning. Yup. Just arose from slumber land. Why?   Well it was the DH turn to be lucky. Well he is always lucky we’re a team. But how many people do you know win the side bets when playing  black Jack ????  He was on a roll and his table let’s just say bonded till after 3am. Me on the other hand just kept playing on the slots. No major wins. Had to feed the machine a few times. But not too painful.

Although I have not witnessed it myself I have heard there was a major issue in the casino last night during some type of contest. And it does sound like the cruiser could be in the right. Hearing they filed an official complaint.

Also. Last hot and sunny. Pools packed.

Ty DH  bringing my coffee back to cabin so I can get jump started.

Today going with the flow.
Nothing planned but packing.  Chillin and getting sad because we have to leave.

OK.  My miracle potion is here. Time to enjoy

later

The pool sounds like a good idea.  We are headed there soon, then Mama Mia this afternoon.

It must have been cold enough in our cabin this morning that baby penguins started to gather.

I can’t say enough about our cabin attendant.  She has been fantastic.  As has our wait staff.  Picked up some extra envelopes to give all of them something extra for their great service.
