oceansandseas Posted May 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2022 Is Oceania still misting cabins and closets with disinfectant daily. Cabin is ok, but wondering what effect this would have on clothing. DH is worried that his suit and sports jackets (yes, he is the one dressed every night for dinner, show and dancing) might have a sticky feel or a disinfectant odor. Has anyone noticed this on their clothing. Final payment is coming up and we must make a decision. Not sure I want my clothing sprayed every day. alcpa1 Posted May 15, 2022 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2022 We were on the Marina in February and they were not spraying our cabin. I've not heard of anyone having their cabin treated and we have talked to others on different sailings. I haven't seen anything on Cruise Critic either. samiam0403 Posted May 15, 2022 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2022 Sailed on Riviera in February, and there was no spraying or misting in our suite and/or closet. My (and my husband's) clothing in the closet was perfectly fine.

KS&JW Posted May 15, 2022 #10 Share Posted May 15, 2022 Having watched a couple with Covid escorted out of their room and to a waiting elevator, they do mist right behind them. That is the only time I saw any "misting"
