There is no requirement stating you need to answer the question.

Kind of like your response...

Seems like the only time you post is when you feel the need to toss a grenade into an otherwise civilized conversation. I guess it is true that everyone grows old but some never grow up.🙄

Just also wondering if in the specialty restaurants like chops the seats are more spaced out then in main dining room.

Yes they are. Chops on that class of ship has always been our favorite.

Also are there any nice outdoor seating areas or would that be around the pool. I hope this is helpful for op too!

One of the nice things about the Radiance class design is that it is the most outward facing of all the RCL ships with lots of outdoor areas on both the pool deck and the deck above it to lay out and just enjoy the sea and sun. If you are really lucky, they may even open the solarium roof if the weather is nice enough.

Planning a trip in the fall of 2023.  Does anyone happen to know if there is any outside eating area outside of the Windjammer?

Actually two. One aft, and one area forward off the pool deck

Nice solariums on this class, nice WJ with outdoor seating, which is only in 2 classes currently(these and Quantum class)

They didn't do outside seating on Odyssey

I have read the ship will get a major upgrade before the world cruise. Right now my major complaint would be the dinning room and bars are under staffed .

Major is very subjective

We’ve been on all 4 Radiance ships, and doing a 10 day on Serenade in February…….. I’m looking forward to your reviews of the world cruise. As much as I love those ships, my husband would never be able to do it.  He had a hard enough time on the Odyssey TA we did last month.

The Radiance class ships were always my favorite…..until Odyssey!

Odyssey is awesome. Just booked her for this coming March.

Completely forgot about the one off to the port side of the entrance to the WJ. Nice couches in that one.

Are there 24 hour pizza & ice cream avail...?

There are a few hours in the middle of the night when there's typically nothing available - the operating hours of most venues are listed in the RCI app.

Can you just show up for shows / events, or do you need to make show reservations on app like on the bigger/biggest ships...?

No bookings available on smaller ships.

Thanks. I’ve been debating cancelling my cruise but these are great tips to spend more time outside and eat safely in a restaurant. I understand serenade has a jogging track too and that would be nice.

Deck 5 is the outdoor promenade deck where there are chairs scattered in various areas and you can also play shuffleboard.    Also good a deck for a stroll around the ship.

At the pool, you can watch movies in the evenings (outdoors) or Serenade has an indoor movie theater near the main theater.

Tables are spaced out nicely at the specialty restaurants.

The Diamond lounge has nice views and there is an overflow area Congo Bar or Safari Club.

There is a jogging track (or walk) on deck 12.     This is where I usually go for sun deck (aft)

Is you are eating at WJ Aft outdoor patio there are steps you can use to get up to deck 12.

Parks Cafe serves pizza and other snacks at night time (not sure what time they close).

Usually well after midnight. There is also a great English pub down next to the casino that would make a killing if they offered pub food like playmakers.

First, that didn't answer my question.  I have a pretty good guess as to why you deflected instead of responding.  😏 Second, and relatedly, just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Yes, but...

They are often different onboard so recent actual experiences might vary from the app.  Doesn't hurt to get first hand info too.

And that recent experience could change by the next sailing.

Biker, who trusts the RCI app info (for the current sailing) most of the time knowing some will always provide some exception examples.
