Just to reply to myself I put basically all of Tom's old site up as a single page in our Meet & Greet site for now, if Tom gets his site working again I'll just redirect folks back to his page. Meanwhile until that happens hope this can help people.

Amazing job - just a note - on Tom's site there was colour coding that showed what type of balcony it was i.e. yellow I believe was covered, some not cover, some partial - any chance of including this? Thanks again, great job.

Awesome job!!! I'm not on your roll call, I'm doing FFL - LA on the Island in January, but this is very helpful. Thanks again!!'

No worries, hopefully Tom gets his site back up, if not we can figure out how to rehost it somewhere more permanently.

I'm hoping to track down a larger picture of the deck plans to offer a higher zoom. I may even end up reproducing them.

As I mentioned, I won't have time to work on this until next week.

Loonbeam - check what I posted - http://www.islandpanama.org/meet-the-ship/covered-balcony-guide/

You can redownload the items from me there too if you want.

I can send you one of my scans, and if it's big enough, let me know and I'll send you the rest

Cool, happy to host that, I managed to extract the SVG files that Princess is using for deck plans now too but they are hard to scale down.

I finally got the current Coral Princess deck plans extracted at reasonable quality

I thought the decks are easier to read as a chunk sideways. I can work on coloring these in if people think they will be easier to read.

There have been a number of category changes since Tom marked up his deck plans. Doesn't change whether the balcony is covered or not but may help with pricing a cabin in a given area/amount of shade.

I actually requested images from Princess. We'll see what they say and what they can give me.

Would appreciate feedback on this redone version using the current deck plans and it is significantly bigger + unified (1 file has all balcony passenger cabin decks)

http://www.islandpanama.org/?attachment_id=375

Make sure to click on the "full resolution" link towards the upper right to see the file size image, now about 5000 x 3500 vs about 750 x 1000 on the old plans.

Even at full definition I find the cabin numbers a bit hard to read on a smaller screen, and it could use a legend, but other than that pretty much in line with what I was putting together..

 the legend is near every staircase on every deck?

...as for size, did you click full size and then click to expand the image again? Browsers tend to downscale images by default....
